[ Mikey's POV ]

The next time I woke up it seemed to be around three AM and someone was looming along the shadows. My stomach lurched at the memories of what Bert had done to me and without much of a warning, I got sick all over the floor, sobs erupting from my throat.

Someone took me into their arms and I screamed, Bert's face flashing before my eyes. ''Shh,'' they try to soothe me, ''It's going to be alright, it was just a nightmare. Come on, lets get you cleaned up.''

I instantly knew who it was and clung to them even tighter, sobbing loudly into their chest. Gerard takes me into a connected bathroom, taking off his hoodie and putting it on me.

''God, Mikes, I am so sorry. You have no idea. But it's all going to be okay soon, trust me. I just..you're going to be leaving soon, alright? I want you to live with Bob and never go out without someone close to you tagging along, alright?'' Gerard says, drying my tears.

Gerard is staying? What? No!

''No!'' I cry, gripping the hem of his Mickey Mouse shirt, ''You can't stay! No! They're horrible! W-we have to escape - together!''

Gerard sniffles, shaking his head.

''It's me or you, Mikey. I refuse to let you stay here because I'm a horrible brother! You went and bought me a damn Chistmas presant, Mikey. We're in poverty, yet you buy me a present! I love you so much Mikey, you're the best brother anyone could ever ask for. That is why I'm giving up my life for you, because it's the right thing to do.'' Gerard tells me, tears falling from his eyes.

I hug him tightly again, shaking my own head.

''I'm not the best brother Gerard, I'm disgusting. I...I...'' No longer could I say it because Gerard seemed to understand because he moaned in misery, holding me closer.

''Oh, my baby brother...I'm so sorry. This is why you have to go home, I don't want that happening to you anymore.''

Sniffling, I hop off the basin and we venture up the basement steps, going to find Frank and going to settle this once and for all.

''You expect me to let him go?'' Frank bellows, dashing over to Gerard and ramming him to the wall. A look of insanity clawed its way up to Frank's eyes, rattling me to the very core.

''Yes! I'll stay! Just...let my brother go! He doesn't deserve what you're doing to him!'' Gerard shouts back, mimicking the look of insanity Frank wore.

For a moment, Frank looked confused and acts out on it.

''What exactly am I doing to dear Mikey, hmm?'' Frank asks, dragging the 'M' in 'Hmm' out.

At this question my stomach lurched, making me want to vomit again. No, I plead inwardly, Don't do it Gerard. Don't tell Frank. be a good brother and shh...

''You're raping him, you sick fuck!'' Gerard shouts, decking Frank in the eye.

My stomach churned and this time, I did get sick - right on Frank's crimson carpet.

Fuck, I thought bitterly, You just made everything ten times harder Gerard. Nice one.

Aww, I fell in love with Gerard in this chapter. If it came of Waycest-y, sorry. I had to keep reminding myself they're brothers and not love-struck babes I can profile-stalk :3
