Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys

We drove down the freeway down to Better Living Industries. We hadn't had any difficult times getting through the city. No Dracs or guards in our way. The city was sleeping, all the people were already being controlled by emotion surpressers and pills. No one would know what was happening tonight.
I pulled on my ear piece, which was a modified two way radio. This would help me speak to Dolly Pop and Doctor Death Defying.
"Party Poison to base" I said.
"We got you, Poison" Dolly said into my ear. "How's Kobra doin' on that system shut down?"
"How far until the cameras are off?" I asked my brother.
"now."
"Systems are down."
"Good. I pull up what room Grace is in and immediatly contact you."
"Got it" I replied.
The first part of getting into Better Living Industries was through the tunnel entrance. It was the only way to the main office, and it usually was heavily guarded. It was stark like everything else BL/Ind owned. White brick walls that had images and advertisements projected on them. Very boring. I didn't bother looking at them. I kept my eyes forward.
In the distance, I could see a security booth, where workers at Better Living would scan their cars in. I accelerated the car, so we were going about seventy miles per hour. In the booths, were a drac and exterminator. I saw them arm themselves as they watched the car come closer.
"We've got two blasters on us" I said into the radio.
"Ram 'em!" Dr. D exclaimed. I did as I was told. I drove so fast that I hit the red line and ran into the booth, destroying it and knocking down the two enemeies. I gave them a quick look in the rear view, only to see the exterminator hit the panic button.
"Shit." I muttered, as the sirens blared.
"They know we're here now" Jet said.
"No worries. They knew we were coming anyway." I replied, pulling up to the main entrance. I parked the car, knowing that this could be the last time I ever saw my little shit of a Trans Am. There was a bridge we had to cross just to make it to the main entrence.
"Girl is in the main S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W office. I can see her on their cameras." Dolly Pop said, radioing in.
"Guys, be careful." Dr.D added. "The Director is with her."
"Got it" I replied, as we crossed the bridge.
"Four Exterminators up ahead." Fun Ghoul said.
"Then, let's start a cycle" I replied, pulling out my yellow ray gun. I heard the guys pull their babies from their holsters and unlock the safety. "Fire at will." I smiled, aiming my gun and firing. We didn't even get scratched with that fight. We were able to walk right in.
The inside of Better Living Industries was exactly how I had imagined it. Black, white, and gray. BORING. The only color inside the building were the numerous wanted posters with our faces on them. Those were also in black and white, but they had a big red X through them, showing that they wanted us dead.
"Okay, you need to turn left once you get in." Dr. D said. "The office is not that far from you. Dolly's already moved the Trans Am to the back so you can get out quicker."
"Got it." I replied, entering the S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W office. I immediatly spotted Grace and I pulled her into a hug, ignoring the fact that Fun Ghoul had taken out the two Dracs that had been sitting at the switch board in the room.
"Party! I was scared" Girl cried into my shoulder.
"Don't worry. We're getting out right now." I said, I pulled back from the hug and looked straight into Grace's eyes. "Listen, we need to know how to get to the back of the building. The car is there."
"Okay, I can show you." she nodded. "That's how I got out the first time."
"Let's go"

We didn't realize how many winding corridors lead to the back entrance of Better Living Industries, but Girl knew exactly where she was going. She would make a turn and tell us something about the hallway we were in or say that something had changed. Finally, the back entrance came into view. It was a lobby, used for the selling of parts and batteries for bots. It, too, was stark.
"Fuck" I heard Kobra yell. I turned and he was holding onto his ear. Behind him was an army of Dracs, and Korse.
"Grace cover your ears and close your eyes" I said. She did as she was told. "FIRE!" I screamed. We began to fight. This is something we anticipated. A big battle at the end, and we anticipated this being the end of us. There had to be at least ten to fifteen Dracs in the room just firing at us and more would be coming anyway. And, as we agreed, we would keep firing. It was tunnel vision. We were running around, hitting Dracs, dusting them. I ran up behind a Drac, grabbed its head and fired. As he fell, i realized who these masked men were. People from the zones.
In front of me, on the tile, lay a former friend of mine, who I thought had died in a clap against the Exterminators. His was was Devil Dan, but now, he was a soulless drone. All these people Korse took, were friends. They were people we would go to every day, party with, and love. We were killing our friends.
"Party Poison" My thoughts were broken when I heard Korse call my name. He was walking right up to me. Fuck! I let my guard down. Within moments my back was pressed against a wall, Korse's cold fingers at my throat. "You had quite the nerve to show up here."
"What can I say" I smirked "I told ya I was comin'
"Too bad you won't live past this,"
"Believe me. I wasn't expecting to."
"You should have just let the radiation poisoning kill you"
"I'm too vain to let something like that take me." Then, placed the barrel of his white ray gun to the underside of my jaw. He tilted his head and smiled wickedly at me.
"Goodbye, Party Poison." The last thing I heard were the screams of terror and I saw Grace's eyes widen with fear, before everything went black.
