Frank’s POV


Sleep…please just go to sleep…. Frank sighed, sitting up in bed and looking down at Gerard. For some reason he just couldn’t get to sleep tonight. He giggled a little looking at Gerard sleeping. He was lying on his back spread-eagle, hugging a pillow with one arm, and his mouth was wide open. Somehow though, he was still attractive, and Frank didn’t understand how.

He got up, walking over to Gerard’s window and looking out at the lone streetlamp. This strange boy was his way out, his escape. He could feel it. Even if he couldn’t actually escape the town, Gerard would make it better. He smiled, looking around him. It was the first unfamiliar place he’d been in who knows how long, and it felt amazing. He couldn’t believe that in just two weeks he’d be going to all sorts of unfamiliar places, with Gerard by his side.

He walked back over to the bed, sitting down and looking at the moonlight framing Gerard’s handsome face. It was probably a really bad thing to do but…he leaned down and kissed Gerard’s forehead.

“Sleep tight, you fucking dork.” He grinned, rolling over and finally managed to fall asleep.

The rest of the weekend was mainly spent studying, and somehow Frank felt he had actually gotten a lot done. He wasn’t quite so worried about finals anymore. But being around Gerard so much had also done something else to him. He’d realized that…even though it was the best thing that had ever happened to him just having Gerard as a friend, he wanted him as something more. Something…terribly, terribly dangerous for a boy to have in this town. He wanted Gerard as a boyfriend.

He sighed as he sat awake in his bed late Sunday night. He could never have that. Not while he was here, anyways, and well, probably not with Gerard. It was quite a shame, but it wasn’t so bad. As long as he kept his feeling hidden from Gerard, he could still have him as a friend, and that was worth a lot.

He finally fell asleep, dreaming of finals week.

Oops, really short chapter. But studying and taking tests isn't exactly interesting.
