Kobra Kid POV

everything was fine until the car started slowing down.

Aubree was still going in and out of conciousness...she was still pale and was slowing getting hints of color in her face.

she moaned in pain and tried to raise her head and torso off of me but couldnt. she was still weak.

"babe lay back down. your still to weak to move. wait til we reach a hotel." i said and pulled her close. she just layed down and closed her eyes and went unconicious again.

i felt the car come to a complete stop and looked at gee.

"Gee, is something wrong?"

"i told you to call me by my killjoy name and we are out of gas. looks like we have to camp here for the night."

"Ge...Party, how far away are we from a gas station?"


"really far, like 19 miles. we will have to wait til morning. now lets set up camp. kobra stay here with detonator while we get everything from the back."

i nodded my head and sat there with Aub. it took them 10 minutes to get everything out and 30 minutes ti set up camp.

gerard came up to the car and helped me move Aub out of the car and we kayed her down by ray.

"help me rearrange the seats in the car into a bed Kobra."

i nodded and it took us 20 minutes to fold the seats down and turn the car into a bed.

we then carried Aubree back and set her down on the now, car seat bed.

"i think ill sleep with Aub tonight. just to make sure she-"

"no. ill stay by her. i am her brother. i think it would be best." ray said cutting me off before i could even finish.

i just nodded and stepped aside.


later i was laying down on the ground trying to sleep

i couldnt stop thinking about Aubree. i hope she would make it.

i was drifting off into sleep until i heard a noise....and not just a normal noise.......more like a....gun shot...
