i wake up to the now familiar harsh hospital lights. But gerards not there. And he promised he would be. Ugh. I see a nurse, but shes sitting and fiddling with her lanyard. I croak out a weak "hey, wheres gerard" and she snaps to attention. .

"who, the redhead?"

"umm", im confused for a second, because gerard has black hair, but then i rememeber seeing the red before i went out.

"yeah, were is he?"

"oh, he went home ages ago hun."

"he did? Why?"

"well he insisted on staying with you overnight, but he had to leave, because that is not allowed."

"when do visiting hours start then?"

"they started at 10:00"

"ehat time is it now?"

"its currently 9 pm. They ended an hour ago"

"did he come se me?"

"yeah, for a little while. He left when you wouldnt wake up."

hmm, that doesnt sound like gerard, and he promised he wouldnt leave me! Oh my god is he okay? Did something happen? Or is he just being a jerk for some reason?!

i feel my eyes swell with tears, and want to die. He's just like everyone else. Pulling me in close and turning on me as soon as I fall for it. I bet he's with Josh. :(

""hey, you there?!"

im woken from my trance by the nurse snapping her fingers in y face. "You can go now, youve just been released." She says aggitatedly.

i hop out of my chair and rush out the door, filling out the paper work i snatched from her hand as i go. I leave them at the front desk and run all the way to gerards apartment.

as soon as i get to the rigjt floor, i pace the hallway quickly, trying to fing the correct number.

soon as i get there i knock on the door, but when theres no answer, i try the doorknob. Surprisingly, its loose and unlocked.

i push open the creaking door slowly.

"Gerard?"
