Just Look at All That Pain
Skydancer
"Gee! Gerard! What the fuck man! Its been three days! I know you're pissed but please! ," Mikey shouted from outside Gerard's apartment door. Instead of answering, Gerard sat fixated on the newest note he had a received.
'42 North Street'
He been past the address about 4 times. All it was was an empty lot, full of weeds and dirt. He checked every inch but it didn't lead him any closer to Frank or Frank's body.
About an hour after Frank had finally left, Gerard gave up and took the thirty minute train ride back to the address and this time he wasn't moving until he had some answers.
He sat in the middle of the field for about two hours until the sun went down. He was determined to find out about the address in the only way he knew how; by waiting.
About an hour after the sun fell, Gerard still sat there, cross- legged in the dirt, feeling the same feeling as he felt before when he was in Frank's car, like someone was watching him. He had his back to the road, which was about 30 feet behind him, staring straight ahead at the old apartment buildings in front of him.
After a another half an hour of feeling like someone was watching him, a short, bald man eventually pushed his way through the bushes in front of Gerard. His clothes were ripped and stained, and as he neared closer, Gerard noticed that while one eye was focused on him, the other gazed off into the distance.
As if he hadn't been creeper out enough this made it even worse.
"Hey! Come here," the old man barked gruffly, still stood a few feet in front of him.
"Um-," but before Gerard could protest, pain shot through his skull and everything went blank.
