Always
Attached at the Hip
I pushed Gerard away. “I can’t do this,” I said, trying not to cry. “I can’t keep kissing my best friends and try to not have any type of emotional attachment. It’s better when I don’t know the guy and then sleeping with them is simple.”
“You’re doing it with Frankie,” Gerard pointed out. He was holding onto my hips. “I’m not forcing you. I’m just stating a fact.”
“It’s just a suggestion between Frank and me. I probably won’t even sleep with him for that reason.” I began to cry profoundly.
“Danny,” Gerard embraced me, “it’s okay. Don’t feel bad. I didn’t mean to. I like you, Danny.”
“Honestly, Gerard, I don’t know what to even do. I dislike feelings and feeling things. It’s disgusting.”
Gerard chuckled. “Danny, you’re a human being. It’s natural to feel things.”
I rested my head on his chest.
“Let’s get you to bed, Danny.” Gerard turned around and I jumped on his back.
“You know, I would have a one night stand with you,” I said as Gerard carried me to his room in the basement. We shared rooms because we were both equally disorganized.
“That’s reassuring,” he giggled and sat me down on his bed carelessly. I took off my jeans not caring that he was there. I had a pair of boxers on anyway. Gerard tucked me in then hopped on the other side of me, lying down with me.
“You didn’t let me finish,” I smirked. “I would need to be drunker than this.”
“Even more reassuring,” he giggled louder. “Thanks, Danny. I’m glad to know you would have to be black out drunk to find me attractive.”
“I didn’t say you weren’t attractive, Gerard. I just can’t sleep with a best friend and not have feelings.”
“I thought you said you don’t fall in love.” He extended the O’s in love and fluttered his eyes.
“Doesn’t stop me from having feelings. I don’t know! Stop twisting my words.” I burped up the taste of Captain Morgan.
“So, how drunk are you getting on Saturday at our show?” Gerard rolled on his side to face me, placing his hand over my chest.
“I won’t start drinking until after your show, but I am going to be rather wasted. Look out for me, yeah?”
“Always,” he replied, closing his eyes and yawning. “But you know, Frank will watch you like a hawk like usual. That boy is attached to you at the hip.”
Notes
I'll update sooner this time, I swear! I know this chapter was somewhat short, but the next one is going to be filled with some good stuff.
