If Only You Knew What Went On In My Head

6

The person I had my eyes on glanced from the screen towards my direction, and I blushed like a madman. He had these very thin shoulders, for some reason I remembered them so clearly, and they were perfectly straight. Terrific posture and all. His hair was tossed in some way, and he looked like he just got out of bed. Being the sexy person I am, I slick my hair back and give him that look. That look that is suave as hell.

Too bad he didn't see me. Instead, he looked down to his shoes and started tying them. And that's what I hate. Whenever I try to grab someone's attention and then they look the other way. Or in this case, the floor.

It wasn't so bad though. It was cute the way he tied his shoes. You should've seen the little guy. He tied those shoes of his very slowly--almost too slowly--and he tied them the whaddyacallit--bunny rabbit way. It's like making two loops and knotting them up like a rabbit's ears. It was quite amusing.

Then this human giraffe had to sit next to him, and even talk to him, for Chrissakes. The worst part was, the boy kept smiling and laughing. I wished that I was that giraffe. I concentrated for a bit so I could hear what they were saying to each other.

"...so could ya do that for me?" the giraffe kept saying. The attractive boy just messed with his blonde hair and laughed. And then he said something I couldn't hear. I swear I must be deaf. Out of the things in the world I wanted to hear this boy speak. I blame all those lonely days and lonely nights that I drowned myself in my music. Those days that I sang until I lost my voice. That day I jumped out the window.

I sighed and lifted some phony book over my eyes. I wasn't reading or anything. I just didn't want to be bothered. The pages I flipped were dull and tasteless. There was something about love and war and this phony couple in the story. And then there was this trusty dog. And this prince, and this queen. And a fucking horse.

Something caught me by surprise. I looked up and saw hazel eyes looking at me with a smile and a hand. A very quiet voice had spoken.

"Hello."

Notes

I haven't updated in a while cause my favorite character in a book died so yeah, I had writer's block...and then the main character died right afterwards. I promise frerard, sorry if it's a slow frerard process or something like that

Haha, I may have read The Catcher in the Rye several times on Gerard's recommendation :p loving this so far, the detail is great :)

@Butdoesanyonecare? I didn't think anyone would catch that ^_^ yeah, Gerard is very much like Holden, and you-know-who is going to be just like Jane

Your writings really similar to the catcher in the rye by J.D Salinger, is this based on that? With Gerard being Holden of course :)

I do the same thing!.. I get stuck on a story, so I start another... Perhaps that's why I have about 8 going right now ;)
think I'm gonna really like this one
