Gay.

The word itself is not ugly. It's merely a word that describes a mans sexual orientation. It was society that took the word and twisted it into something ugly that is more likely to be used as an insult and whispered about in hushed tones among adults. It's something society says you should be disgusted with, and ashamed to be it. Something that should make you feel like less of a human just because of who you choose to love. And the words associated with it, homosexual, faggot, cocksucker. All thrown around like bullets, piercing minds and created evil thoughts. Gay isn't an ugly word. Society is.

Vampire

Most commonly associated with drinking blood, luring in virgins and killing them, and something to be feared. The myths fly around them, sunlight, crosses, silver, wooden stakes, garlic, ect. They are also known to the human race to be just scary stories, things to talk about on a stormy night or around the campfire. To put it bluntly, vampires don't exist.
If only that were true.

And how do I know you might ask?

Because I Gerard Way, am a vampire.

And if you asked me to describe myself, those are the first two words I would throw at you.
