Everyone Needs A Bestfriend

*beep*...*beep*...*beep* I opened my eyes to find myself in hospital room. I took in the white walls with strips of light blue, the heart monitor I was hooked up to, and all the other things I was hooked up to. I looked for a clock, but found none in sight. The shades were drawn on the window, so I had no idea what kind of light was coming through. "Robert!" I looked to the door and saw Destiny standing there. She ran towards me and embraced me in a hug. "Ow." "Sorry. I was just so happy to see you were finally awake.." She trailed off. "How long have I been out?" I saw sympathy in her eyes. "I don't really want to tell you this.. but longer tha-" "ROBERT!!" I saw a short figure in the door coming at me. "F-Frank? But.. How.. When-?" I was speechless. "I finally came out of my coma about a month ago. When I woke up, the nurses were just as stunned. I wanted to talk to you, but they told me you were in here. Gerard really got you. Destiny told me everything. You um.. you almost died, but they managed to bring you back. The doctors wanted to pull the plug, but everyone fought for you." Frank slightly smiled at me. "Listen Frank, I'm sorry for fighting with you. It was all my fault that you went into a coma. I'm really sorry.." Frank came closer and hugged me. "Don't beat yourself up dude. Besides, we're out of our comas, and Gerard's ass in fucking jail. He went in with two separate cases of attempted murder. We won't see him for a pretty long time." I was amazed. "Hey!" I heard several more people at the door. I could see my parents, Frank's parents, Destiny's parents, and Bob. Everyone had decided to come check on me at once. It was nice though. I could feel the love of everyone in here. They had all fought for me to stay alive. They were my family and friends. I pulled Frank close so I could whisper in his ear. "Frank, you are the best friend anyone could ask for." He smiled. "So are you Robert. Everyone needs a best friend."
