my way home is throuh you
Headfirst for halos
It's been a week since we officially moved into this house. It was a small mini Victorian house, built in the nineteen twenties. It was legit old. The stairs were creaky every step making me freeze, and spiderwebs in every corner and the walks vomit peach color that made me puke a little in my mouth. When we first got the house, I told mom that we had to get rid of the spider webs unless we wanted to severe the arachnophobia in this family. She just laughed and said the place was perfect as it was.
We still have that big old rust in the drive way.we still had more furniture to go in the extra room where we call if the antique museum. I got the basement, which I was happy. The basement was basically big, with concrete floor, that was cold as ice but I put my big skeleton carpet in the middle of the room and dusted the corners with a broom. The walls were ghostly pale white, which I hung posters on and my bed was in the far corner with a night stand next to it and a big dresser pressed against the wall for my clothes. I had two huge shelves that took up one wall with albums and comic books and novels and another wall to the fall left where I have my desk for my art work and a stereo where I can play my CDs. The lights were only dim,but I liked it like that.
I left one big space for the piano my grandmother let me have to remember her, she taught me basics I needed to know about the piano and when I got to go over to her house I'd would always practice with her. She sent it with a note. I still feel anger at my mom for making us abandoned her. I made sure I'll talk to her everyday. My grandmother inspired me a lot with art and beauty of music and artistic talent. Now I'm saving up for a guitar.
Right now I was blasting my smashing pumpkins album as I unpacked and I was at home alone right now. My mom going to run a "Few errands." next thing I know my mom texts me telling me to get the rest of the boxes and arrange all the antiques and if I broke any of them I owe her.
I go up the creaky stairs leading to upstairs, my feet hit the Warmer dust infected hard wood floor. I slip on some converses I laid next to the door as I head outside. As soon as I open the door there's a raven hair boy with two others one was short with black and blonde hair and lip ring, he could pass for a hobbit and the other had moppy brown hair and glasses, his expression was only blank and fool of shyness, he looked to be raven hair brother. The boy who was as of about to knock, his hair went down to his shoulder and choppy and het black , had a round boyish face and was pale as of I, and his piercing green eyes made the air tickle my exposed skin. They wore a school uniform with red and black striped ties. Raven hair easily had his bag swing over his shoulder as if it were a coat.
The three of them stared at me with a awkward intensity. I took a step out the door cautiously closing it, these guys could possibly jump anyone. "Hi do you need something?" I tried to sound polite. Their staring made it awkward. "Uhmmm." Raven hair still had his fist raised as if he was still going to knock. "Uhhhh sorry about him, he's just ummm high right now." the short guy pulled on his arm as if trying to him they should leave. The shy kid just stud back looking amused.
"Sorry. " raven hair boy shook his head as if he was snapping out of trance. "Must be the wrong house." his eyes pierced through me, now seeming unfriendly. He turned to leave the other guys following him. "Wait!" I sprinted down the stairs after them. "What?" the boy snapped. He was seeming more annoyed now. First off he shows up here, ready to knock on my door. What's his problem. "What's your names?" I ask quietly. I awkwardly shuffle me feet looking down embarrassed.
"Fra-" the short boy was about to start. "Nope let's just go." he cut off. I could hear their foot steps leaving, heading down the other way of the neighbor hood. "Ass hole!" I tell after them. They just kept walking they were a far distance.
My phone buzzed And I checked to see it was my mom.
Mom: Hey honeyz I'm gonna be late so fix yourself dinner.
Me: K. Where are you running errands for?
Mom: Well I'm sure you'll be glad to know, that I got your school uniforms and met your principle and got your school supplies.
Me: Great what grade am In.. The fucking 4th grade? And having you talked to grandma?
Mom: language young lady. And yes I've talked to her, she says wants you to call her as soon as possible.
Me: great I will, seemingly you never bother to call her first at least I love her more than you do and she's your mother.
Mom: don't you start that! I'm not in the-
Me: mood. Ok I'll hang up now. See you when you get home.
I snapped the phone shut and went back inside and quickly fixed me a early small dinner of Mac n cheese and bacon. After that I got the rest of the boxes And headed upstairs to the third floor to unpack and shelve. I checked the time and it was now five o clock. I called grandma but she was unable to reach the phone, it must be dinner and bath time at the nursing home she's at.
Mom still wasn't back yet. The encounterment with the three guys entered my mind. I don't know why the raven hair guy was being an ass hole, but his green eyes flashes through my mind. As I took a shower and in my room drawing and blasting iron maiden.
I checked my phone, it was now seven and my mom wasn't home yet. I looked down at my sketch book and look at it. My heart ran faster than it ever could. It was those eyes again. I had drew them. I tore it out of my sketchbook and tossed it in the bin.
I went to lay on my bed. Letting the hours tick by. Anxiety taking over me. My eyes grew heavy and still those eyes were piercing me. I've never seen eyes that could have an affect on someone.
I checked my phone and it was ten o' clock. I was feeling exhausted from all this unloading and unpacking. As I close my eyes, up stairs I could hear the front door loudly creek open and closing shut and the heels of my mothers shoes clanking loudly, I then fell asleep the remainder of the night with the run in replaying in my head and tomorrow I start a new hell hole.
