Save Me From My Reality

Frank Iero flicked the light switch on for his room, that was filled with high school band pictures, all from two brothers of the Way family. The taller, slightly tanner brother had never really smiled, Frank remembered. His name was Michael James Way, and he wore high prescription glasses. His dirty blond hair met in small streaks and had probably been soft because he lacked keratin. He figured since Gerard Arthur Way, the older and more attractive brother had lacked keratin, then his brother would be the same. They both had hazel eyes, and they both liked music.

Frank's eyes met with Gerard's from the poster. His long, raven hair was absolutely mesmerizing, allowing his smile to be more distinct. The fact that he always looked elegant bedazzled Frank, the way Gerard wore a dark plaid shirt and looked as if he was going to a ball. Gerard Way was too good to be true.

He plopped himself at his desk and turned his old fashioned computer on, loading up the internet to find out anything about Gerard Way.

It was midnight.

Frank sighed hopelessly and picked up his guitar, practicing for his own band, Pencey Prep. It was named after the school Holden attended in The Catcher In The Rye. Frank wondered if Gerard read that book. He also wondered if he'd heard about the band.

He knew Gerard was an artist, and had been writing a comic book about vampires. Something in Frank's mind knew he was going to incorporate vampires in the album, and horror movies too.

So far, Frank has been to every one of their shows. All their shows were for other bands, and they were just opening acts. Their first show, their band had no name, but they still sounded amazing. They always sung that one song, the song that started it all.
