Out Of Sight Out Of Mind
I threw my hefty rucksack over my shoulder and trudged down the pathway, jumping over the cracks every now and then. I was grateful that school was over, I don't think I could stand another hour in that place today.
"Frank, wait up" I heard the usual voice and so I stopped and turned around. Gerard caught up in a few moments.
"You're following me home too now, I see." I jested lightly with a faint laugh to my voice.
"Don't kid yourself, Iero. You're not that great." He joked back, hitting my side gently as he giggled. "I was just walking home and I saw you so I came to remind you to bring your guitar tomorrow." He grinned like he knew it would wind me up.
I glowered at him in response. "Why should I?"
"I asked you nicely?" He offered innocently, looking up at me again. I was finding it hard to say no to him, he was like a little child. I looked at my watch and saw that my mum wouldn't be home for another hour.
"I don't really want to bring it into school, it's heavy and it might get broken." Gerard was about to persist when I continued. "-but I guess if you have time, you could come over to my house now?" I hesitated, scratching my head shyly. I never have people over and I wasn't sure why I had taken so much of a liking for Gerard, I'd only met him a few days ago.
"I was right, Mr Hostile is definitely getting soft." He raised his eyebrow, referring to the joke he'd made a few days ago.
"Or, you know, I could just kill you..." I quipped, jokingly.
"Hey! No, I'm sorry I'll be nice. I don't think I'd like to get on your bad side." He sounded genuinely worried at first. "And yes, I have time, so sure." He nodded his head and smiled again.
Notes
Again, this more of a filler and it's short but it's a bit hard to go from calling him an asshole to good friends in a few chapters. Feedback is awesome, I'll update like tomorrow maybe.
Drink some milk and dont forget to eat your five a day. I can't think of any more advice right now it's almost midnight here.
Love the story now but I'll love the re-write too I'm sure. If u like it more, you're more likely to work on it more. ;)
