Love at First Bite (Frerard)

"Can I meet your parents?" I ask out of the blue.

"No! What? Why?" Frank snaps suddenly.

"Why not?" I ask, wondering why on earth he wouldn't want me to meet his parents when we bonded a couple of days ago. Frank hadn't been home since but he's texted his parents.

"They- they aren't very nice, and they," Ok, now it seems like he's making stuff up. "They are out of town."

"Oh, alright..."

"Sorry, it's just. You can meet them when they get back."

"Yeah, it's fine."

"Hey, speaking of my house and such. I'm going to run home so I can grab some clothes. Stay here and I'll be back in about ten or twenty minutes."

I don't object, because now I have a plan.

"Yeah, I'll be here, don't worry." I smile and then Frank kisses my lips quickly before leaving my from and I soon hear the front door close.

I spring up and race downstairs and I look out the window. I wait until Frank is out of sight before I slip out the front door and begin to follow him.

*knock, knock, knock*

I wait for someone to answer the door I the Iero house hold.

"Hello, welcome to the Iero residence. Please, come in." A tall man with a suit and I'm brushed hair that covers his eyes opens the door and let's me in.

I smile and step in the house after thanking him.

"Could I see Frank Iero?" I ask and before I can get a response, I hear woman's voice.

"Robert, who's there?" I turn and see a woman who looks like Frank walk down the stairs in a long, black dress, and her slightly curly hair hangs around her biceps.

"Linda?" I hear another voice and my head whips to the other side of the stairs to see a man who also looks like Frank. I watch them both reach the bottom of the stairs.

"And who may you be?" The woman, 'Linda' asks.

"I'm Gerard Way. I know Frank from school." I don't want to say anything else, just in case they didn't like me.

"Oh, Frank!" She calls. "He should be down soon."

I watch as Frank emerges from a doorway at the left too of the stairs and he looks pissed and frustrated.

I take a few steps back and stand behind Robert, the one who answered the door.

Once Frank he's to the bottom of the stairs he matches towards his mom with a girl running after him.

"Mom, please tell Jamia to not kiss me without my permsision."

What?

"Frank, she's your mate. You have to kiss her." She states and I feel my stomach drop.

Mate?

Her?

Jamia?

I knew it!

I knew he was lying. I feel tears brimming at my eyes as I step out from behind Robert. Franks eyes are closed and his arms are crossed as he listens I his mother ramble about her.

"Mate?" I squeak and Frank's eyes open and he stiffs.

I sniffle and Frank's mouth opens.

"You- you have a mate? And didn't tell me?"

"Gerard, I-" Frank starts.

"I don't want to hear it! W-we bonded and you have a mate?!" I hiss.

"Bonding?" The other man, Frank's dad I assume questions.

"Dad, I can explain." Frank speaks.

"You bonded with that?!" The other girl, Jamia pipes in.

"No, I-I-" Frank tries to save himself but I can't even listen anymore. I just turn and run out the the mansion.

"Gerard!" I hear Frank scream but I keep running. I'm not going home. Frank might find me there.

Fuck, I knew it!

Frank never did love me...
