"Gerard, are you sure you'll be alright?" Frank asked, unsure if leaving this student on their own was a good idea. Blood still dripped freshly from his lips.
"Y-y-yeah," Gerard replied, relieved. After an hour of being with Frank, he wanted to desperately leave. He enjoyed the teen's company, but knew it was best if Frank stayed away from someone like him. Someone who wasn't worth being near. "I-I-I'll b-be f-f-fine."
Frank's voice cracked. "C-come to my place after school tomorrow, okay?"
"Y-you d-don't ha-a-ave t-to. I-I g-got t-the mom s-s-so I-I'm n-not a-alone," he answered. He started to believe Frank was just like Ray; a fake. Frank had to be; he was too good to be true (personality-wise and appearance-wise). The perfection of his dark brown eyes, and simplicity of his smile made him unrealistic.
"No, I really want..." Frank sighed. "I want you."
Gerard blushed. "T-to c-c-c-come o-o-o-o-over?" This never happened, Gerard was never invited to anyone else's (besides his cousins, and other family members) home.
Frank giggled femininely. "Yeah, and we'll hang out here," Frank motioned with his arms, the whole room. "The music room."
Gerard tilted his head, and Frank began to explain. "My stepmom won't let me play music anywhere else in the house," he sighed. "So this is where I...you know..." What did people do with music? Listen, but that wasn't the word Frank was looking for.
"E-e-escape..." Gerard finished, his eye contact away from Frank. Music held a certain place in his heart.
Frank laughed. "Yeah, what you said. We'll hang here and escape," he smiled. "And also send those jocks to hell."
Gerard got up to leave, and waved genuinely. Frank grinned wide. "See you tomorrow!"
Frank turned off the lights and jumped onto his mattress.
After exiting the home, Gerard paced slowly to his, greeting his mom with a slight 'hi' and slipped into bed.
He was still wearing Frank's sweater.
