You Can Cry All You Want To, I Don't Care

I go back up to my new room to find it slightly trashed but I don't care, picking my way across the room and digging out my clean uniform, getting dressed before leaving again and going down to Mikey's room. I knock on the door and I hear a loud groan from inside followed by a girlish giggle and when the door opens I come face to face with a shirtless Pete. "Sup?" He says and I roll my eyes at him as he steps back and lets me in. When I walk in Mikey is still in bed, rubbing his eyes, his hair a mess and he says "Oh hey Gee, I'm assuming you were with Frank last night?" "Yeah." "Everything ok with you two?" "Uh yeah actually we kinda...." I trail off, holding out my hand for him to see the ring. "Uh Gee what did you do?" "It's a commitment ring." "Ok, are you sure about this though? Like you were ready to break up, are you sure this is what you want?" "I am. I was fucking miserable this last week and now, seeing him again last night it was like I could breathe again, I didn't feel like I was suffocating anymore. I need him in my life Mikes." "Well I'm so happy for you then Gee" he tells me as he climbs out of bed and pulls me in for a hug. I hug back for a second before pulling away and saying "I feel kinda weird hugging you in your underwear." Mikey laughs as he says "Yeah I can see how that would be weird" before crossing the room and pulling on his uniform while I sit on the couch next to Pete who is pulling his shoes on. Once we're all ready to go we leave the room and when we get down to the main door it's still raining and Pete huddles under my umbrella with me as we prepare to step out. "Hey what about me?" Mikey asks and Pete says "Fuck you, go upstairs and get our umbrella." "No it's too fucking far" Mikey says and just as we step outside he runs a few steps and leaps onto Pete's back, clinging tight around his neck as Pete stumbles, almost falling into a puddle and Mikey starts laughing as both me and Pete run across to the main building, Pete trying to shake Mikey off his back. By the time we get through the door and out of the rain again both Pete and Mikey are in hysterics and Mikey is wetter than he would have been if he had just run without an umbrella. Once we're fully out of the rain Pete pinches Mikey's leg hard, causing him to loosen his grip on him and fall to the floor in a heap. "Ow you fucker, I will get you for that." Pete offers Mikey his hand and as soon as he's on his feet again I say "I'm going to get Frank from the admin, see you guys in the cafeteria." I go back out into the rain which has thankfully eased off, rushing across campus back to the administration building where I see Frank just walking to the door. "Perfect timing baby" he tells me when I reach him, leaning in for a kiss before he wraps his arm around my waist, pressing against my side as we make our way back to the main building to grab breakfast.

Once we have our food we are looking for a table and Mikey waves his arms to get our attention, signalling that we should sit with them. As we sit down Frank spots Mikey's wet uniform and he says "What happened to you? Someone push you into a puddle?" And Pete and I start laughing. "Nah, I jumped on this jerks back for a ride and Gees umbrella wasn't quite big enough for us all." "Oh" Frank says before he laughs a little too and we start to eat, picking at each other's breakfasts. "Aww you guys" Mikey coos, trying to embarrass us but I stick my tongue out at him before turning to Frank and leaning in for a wet sloppy kiss with too much tongue and once Mikey starts making gagging noises I pull away and giggle, my goal achieved. "Hey I wasn't done yet" Frank protests as he winks as me and we lean in for another normal kiss. Just as we pull apart again Frank is yanked backwards off the bench and thrown to the floor and when I turn my head to look Bert is towering over him looking scarily angry. Frank scrambles to stand up and Bert takes a swing at him. Frank dodges it but does nothing in retaliation and when Bert swings again he connects with Franks jaw and I snap, launching myself off the bench and shoving Bert's chest hard, causing him to stumble back a few steps and before he can recover I punch him in the face, pulling back for another one when strong arms wrap around me and Frank whispers in my ear "Baby stop it's alright. I can't fight back or I get expelled but if he starts shit he's in so much trouble and there's a teacher over there." Bert straightens up and charges towards us and just as he raises his fist to hit me a rough male voice calls out "Mr McCracken, office, now." He drops his fist and growls out "This isn't over" as he storms off, leaving the cafeteria and I spin around and cup Franks face in my hands. "You ok babe?" I ask and he nods as he smiles at me and says "Yeah I'm fine but I must say it's hot seeing you fight, you standing up for youself is a major turn on." I chuckle as I lean in and bury my face in his neck, hiding my blushing cheeks as we cuddle. When we pull apart again Mikey says "Alright love birds, time for class" and we grab our stuff, heading towards the art block for our first classes of the day.
