You Can Cry All You Want To, I Don't Care

Three hours later Frank still hasn't come home and he left his cell on the table so I can't even call him and I get fed up with waiting, dragging myself out of bed and taking another shower before pulling on a pair of sweatpants and one of Franks tshirts. I'm starting to get hungry again when my phone beeps and I pick it up seeing a message from Bert. 'Hey new gory vampire movie is showing, wanna go see it?' I smile to myself and send back 'Absolutely, wanna go grab some dinner first?' Bert texts back and we organise to meet at a diner in twenty minutes so I rush around, changing into jeans and grabbing a jacket before heading out and when I get to the diner Bert is already there. We have an hour until the movie starts so we order something quick and when we're done we take the short walk to the theatre, my phone in my pocket and Frank still hasn't called me. We get to the theatre and get tickets, grabbing some candy on our way in and when we're seated I let out a soft sigh as I check my phone again. "You ok?" Bert asks and I smile weakly before saying "Yeah just didn't think that I'd be spending my wedding night at the movies with a friend rather than with my husband." "Wait what? Why the hell are you here then?" I explain to Bert about what happened and he frowns and says "Wow that sucks, so you don't know where he is?" I shake my head as I say "I'm sure whatever's keeping him is important." The movie starts and I soon get lost in the gore on the screen, feeling myself relax a little and I'm having a genuinely good time with Bert when my phone buzzes in my pocket and I pull it out to see Frank calling. "I'll be right back" I tell Bert as I stand and make my way out into the lobby, answering the call. "Baby where are you?" "At the movies with Bert." "What? Why?" "Because I laid around naked waiting for you for three hours and you never came back so I decided to go out and have some fun." "Come home baby, I'm sorry." "I'll be home later" I tell him and he sighs and says "Babe don't be like that, please just come home." "I'm not being like anything and I'll be home when the movie is over" I tell him before hanging up and going back into the theatre.

Once the movie is over Bert comes home with me and when we go inside Frank and Ian are on the couch in the living room and Frank jumps up, rushing over when he hears us but he stops in his tracks when he sees Bert. "Bert" he says, his voice icy. "Hey Frank." Frank shoots me a questioning look and I ignore it, pushing past him and leading Bert over to the other couch where we sit down and I introduce Bert to Ian. Frank takes his seat beside Ian again and we decide to play video games, Ian kicking my ass at the boxing game we're playing but when I hand the control to Bert it looks like Ian has finally met his match. They start trash talking one another and I laugh before getting up to get drinks for everyone and when I make it to the kitchen Frank grabs my wrist and spins me around. "What the hell babe?" He asks and I sigh before saying "You fucking left and didn't come back, don't get shitty with me for finding something better to do than laying around waiting for you." "Baby I'm not shitty. I'm sorry I was gone for so long I just had to...." "I don't really care what you were doing, whatever it was was clearly more important than me and Jake succeeded in driving us apart yet again so...." "No baby" Frank says as he brings his hands up to cup my face. "Nothing is more important than you and I'm sorry I went, I know I shouldn't have." "It's fine, you had to go I just thought you were coming back." Frank sighs before saying "I'm sorry" again and I turn back around and walk over to the fridge, getting out four beers and handing one to Frank on my way past, ignoring his hurt look as I go back into the living room and rejoin Ian and Bert.
