Wolf Hearts

It was nice to wake up for once without being scared that I killed people or had left some kind of evidence at the crime scene. I rolled my head to see Frank, his eyes closed and him breathing softly, I don't know how we both fell asleep sitting up, I looked at the clock on the wall. Ten thirty, so pretty late, I picked Frank up and carried him up the stairs, towards his apartment, I picked the lock with one of my claws and pushed the door open.
"Frank?"
I looked up and saw a middle aged woman, with black hair tucked into a messy bun and hazel eyes identical to Frank's, so this was his mom.
"Is my son okay?"
"Yes, Mrs. Iero, he just fell asleep at the movie theater"
"Oh, you carried him all the way here?"
"Yes ma'am, that's why it took so long, I'm sorry he's home so late" I explained rather quickly
"No no, it's fine, thank you for bringing him home umm"
"Sally, Mrs. Iero, Sally Sykes"
"Oh okay, thank you Sally, if you ever need anything from us, this house is open to you"
"Thank you"
I told her I had to go home, she agreed and took Frank from my arms, she noticed my frown but I smiled and told her I was fine. I wasn't fine, I was far from fine, but she already had Frank to worry about, I didn't want to pour my problems on her, she was human, she wouldn't know. I walked out the door and turned towards my apartment, I knew the door wasn't locked, but my hand still went up to knock on the wood. I heard his creaky footsteps as he walked towards the door, he looked through the keyhole and opened the door. I walked in and he shut the door behind me, locking it and leaning against it
"Your eyes are hazel now"
"Yeah"
"So, Alice is gone"
"Which means I don't need you anymore"
His eyes flared with annoyance and he left his place at the door, grabbing me by the neck and pulling me up to his eyes.
"What was that Sally? What did you say?" He growled
"You heard me, you jackass, I don't need you, I can control myself now!"
He roared and threw me towards the wall, I heard the dry wall crack underneath the impact, I grunted and glared at Ollie, tears were running down his cheeks and he was yelling unidentifiable things.
"I've loved you for fifty seven years! FIFTY SEVEN FUCKING YEARS! Don't you understand that I lost everything when I ran away with you?!?!"
"I didn't ask you to come with me! It's not my fault you didn't listen to me!"
"I FUCKING HATE YOU!!!!!!"
"GOOD! Then you can get the hell away from me! Because I don't need you anymore!"
He reached towards the counter and pointed his pistol at me, I knew what kind of bullets he had in there
"Ollie, calm down, neither of us have to die tonight"
"IT'S BECAUSE OF THAT IERO BOY ISN'T IT?!?!?"
"Ollie-"
"IT IS!!!! YOU'RE IN LOVE WITH HIM INSTEAD OF ME!!!!!"
He put it closer to my heart and ordered me to tell him if I did, he had completely snapped this time, unfortunately that meant he was a danger to society. I stood up and walked towards him, I wrapped my arms around him and brought his ear towards me, he hugged me back, dropping the gun on the floor.
"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry that I was the one who ruined your life" I whispered
I stuck four claws into his chest and felt his pained breath on my ear.
"I'm sorry I'm the one who ended it"
His dying body fell to the ground as blood dripped from my hand, I walked to the window, planning to go to Frank's
"Wait...."
I turned towards Ollie, looking down at him with vacant eyes
"Do you actually love him? Is he just my replacement?"
"No, he's the only person I've ever cared about" I told him nonchalantly "I can't ever let him go"
His final breath resided in a smile, I rolled my eyes and climbed out the window
