Hey Mr. Way

I flashed my pass to the bus driver as I stepped on and braced myself for the terrors of the school bus. I was now skilled at dodging random legs sticking out to trip me, and flying paper aeroplanes. I sat near the back, next to some blonde girl who thinks she rules the world. The bus trip seemed like it lasted forever, but it finally reached the school entrance. Kids poored out of the door and ran into the school. I slumped out of the door and dragged my feet underneath me as I got closer and closer to my day of hell.
I didn't have art today, looked like I was going to have to spend a day with no fun in it whatsoever because I couldn't even look forward to seeing Mr. Way.
I kept my eye out for him all day, and it took until lunch time for me to see him. He was walking back to his classroom after he'd eaten lunch. I smiled at him shyly as he walked past and he stopped me in the cooridor.
'' Um, Frankie, can I ask you to do me a favour? '' He asked with a smile. Ofcourse, I'd do anthing for him!
'' Yeah, sure. '' I replied trying to look casual.
'' I've just had a class of really, really messy kids, and now my classroom's in a right state. Would you possibly mind coming to my classroom after school to help me tidy, it won't take long. Only if you're not buisy though. ''
I agreed straight away and told him I'd be straight there. I didn't have anything to do after school, just a bit of homework.
Oh. I forgot about my dad. He's going to kill me. I'll be late home and he hates that. Me and my mum are both scared of him but neither of us stand up to him, because we know he'd beat us up if we did. Oh, whatever, it's for Mr. Way, I'd do anything for him! I thought as a brushed away the memories of what he's done in the past. Mr. Way would protect me, if my dad did anything bad, I'd just go tell Mr. Way, then my dad will be put in prison, hopefully forever.
I couldn't wait to get to the end of the day! I daydreamed about Mr. Way all through my lessons, so I didn't get any work done. Oh well.
Finally the bell rang to signify the end of school. I quickly sped down the cooridor to Mr. Way's classroom.
