'' Hi Gee, '' I smiled, getting into the car.
'' How was school? '' he asked.
'' Not much fun. I had sports and I forgot my kit. The woman on reception is a bitch and she said ''get your parent or carer to phone in and explain why you're late'' even though I already told her. ''
'' Oh. I'll just ring in and pretend to be your dad or something then, '' Gerard replied.
About thirty seconds later, I looked up to see Gerard with a smirk on his face.
'' What is it? '' I frowned, confused over what he was thinking.
'' Oh, just a thought, '' he said, chuckling quietly.
'' Awh come on, tell me! '' I whined, desperate to know what he was thinking about.
'' Nope, '' he smirked, '' you'll find out soon. ''
I sighed and gave up, knowing I was defeated and that I'd just have to wait and find out later.
Once we got back home, Gerard rang into school, using the payphone outside so they couldn't track anything.
'' I don't think they would bother, '' Gerard said to me, '' but it's always good just to be safe, just incase. ''
He phoned the reception and almost instantly someone picked up the phone.
'' Hello, I'm Frank Iero's dad, '' he said, glancing at me and smirking, '' he told me I had to phone in and explain why he was late in this morning? ''
'' Mhmm, okay basically he was feeling sick this morning when I went in to wake him up, so I told him he could take the day off, then after a couple of hours he started to feel a bit better, hence why he came into school, because I thought it was a bit stupid if he took the whole day off if he wasn't feeling ill anymore. A couple of seconds of silence came along, obviously the receptionist was talking, then Gerard said goodbye and hung up.
'' Thank god that pulled off, '' Gerard sighed in relief, '' she knows my voice well, so I was stood there praying she didn't realise it was me. ''
I chuckled and followed him back inside.
'' Oh god, I'm hungry, '' I groaned half an hour after getting in. Gerard got up off the sofa and asked me what I want and I just told him anything whatever he wants, because I didn't care I was just fucking starving.
Gerard made us pasta, of which I ate almost instantly because I was so hungy. I didn't understand why until I realised that I hadn't actually eaten anything apart from the odd slice of toast or something for the past few days.
'' You were hungry, '' Gerard commented.
'' Yeah...I still am a little, '' I replied, confused over why all of a sudden I was so hungry. I mean, yeah I haven't eaten properly for days but I thought that the hunger would have kinda come a little more gradually rather than just all of a sudden.
'' Well, I have something for you to eat, '' Gerard winked and smirked. It took me a second to catch on to what he was saying, but when I realised a smirk appeared on my face, too.

I was confused over his question, but I decided it was best to just answer truthfully.

I stayed still, not knowing what to do.
