This Is How We Like To Do It On The Murder Scene

2003 (Current Time)

Kat was at a Green Day concert. She was making an appearance on stage at the Chicago concert at the Aragon. She was back stage getting ready putting her wig on that concealed the hair that would "ruin her image" as the record label told her. As always when she put it on she got depressed. They had changed her, ruined her. She didn't even write her own songs anymore which is why last week after she overdoed on xanax. When she got out of the hospital she went on a big rant during a TV interview about how day after day people are changing themselves because a company told them to. Today on stage she was going to kill off Katelyn Moreno. 21 Guns would be the last song she ever sang.

When Billie called her out they sang 21 Guns and it was beautiful. Kat was nervous about what her manager would say but she knew she wouldn't stand a chance at life like this anymore, she already tried to kill herself last week. If she kept pretending next time she wouldn't make the mistake of using pills, she would use a gun.

"Ladies and Gentleman my dear friend Katelyn has something to say to you all," Billie said then handed the mic to Kat who took it.

"I have to be honest, this isn't me at all. When I was 14 I spent the summer of 1994 in New Jersey and that was the last time I was able to walk out on street and be myself 100%. When I was 14 I signed with a label and didn't know what I had done. Maybe I should have listened to my mom and read the contract. They changed me, everything. My hair, my clothes, my songs, how I talk. EVERYTHING," Kat said pulling off the wig, revealing her aqua scene.

"I hated living a lie and I hated myself for a long time. Last week I tried to kill myself because self harm wasn't satisfying enough. Obviously it didn't work, and I'm glad it didn't because now I'm going to save myself, and everyone who was affected my the labels who changed them. It's a fucking revolution!" Kat screamed then ran off to change clothes. The band played "Do you know your enemy" as she changed into that same Misfits shirt. She through on jeans and her black on black converse and ran back out to assist Billie in singing "Holiday".

A huge weight had been lifted off her chest, she felt free for the first time since she signed that contract. She had been thinking for the past month whether or not she would renew her contract like she did so many times before. She got off stage and Debby, her manager, was standing there.
"You look pissed" Kat said to her
"What the fuck was that shit you just fucking pulled. No company will hire you now! You fucked up everything I got you. All you had to do was play the part!" Debby snapped
"Maybe I didn't want to fucking live a lie anymore! I don't even write my songs anymore. I wasted 8 years of my life. My dumb ass 14 year old self trusted you. You told me you wouldn't change me! Your just a dumb skank who only cares about money!"
"Look at you! Your just another emo freak. I had to change you!"
"Fuck you," Kat screamed tearing up. She grabbed her bag and ran out into the ally. An ally in Chicago at 2 am isn't a good idea for anyone, even though she was from there.

She sat there crying for about 30 minutes before the blade came out. She cut and cut on her stomach and now her wrists. Then Mikey Way, who had been hanging out with the band, came out and heard her.

"Hey umm you don't need to do that" Mikey said when he saw her.

Kat just sat there with tears running down her face. Then he scooped her tiny body up and brought her to the hotel down the street where My Chemical Romance was staying. Mikey had cleaned up her arms a belly and then she began to talk. That night they became instantly close. They stayed up all night talking. For the first time Kat opened up completely to someone and she spilled everything, everything but the romance she had with Frank.
