Save Yourself, I'll Hold Them Back
Look Alive Sun Shine
I changed behind a building into the fresh clothes Patrick had got me. The jeans were a little tight, but then again, my bulge is catching the eyes of Gee. He grinned at me with a gleam in his eye, "Nice jeans. And that big bulge isn't too shabby if I must say myself."
I chuckled as I pulled the blood stained shirt over my head an tossed it into the dumpster, "Well, maybe you'll get to see what's behind these tight jeans."
Gerard grinned at my bulge, "Oh, I think I know."
I put on the black tee and asked Gerard, "I seem to be dressed fine, but what about you? You're still wearing your white clothing from the institution."
"No, it's fine. Mikey's house is just around the corner," Gerard cringed with a smile, "I gotta say, my nerves are acting up."
"You'll be okay. He's your brother, he'll help you in anyway that he can."
Gerard smiled and held my hand, "Lets go before my excitement goes down." Gerard pulled my body down the street and around the corner-but then he stopped suddenly. His eyes stared up at a large blue house with long white curtains flowing from the inside of the windows. He smiled, "It hasn't changed at all." He frowned, "If you don't think about the negative things that happened in the house, it's actually kind of nice." His smile faded slowly as his hand slipped out of mine. He slowly walked up the small porch and faced the door. I stayed behind, just to give him some space.
He took the time to touch the front door with his hand. He then knocked on it, and took a step back. He glanced at me with a large grin.
The door opened.
A man with a roman nose, combat boots, and leather jacket stared at Gee. Gee's smile faded away quickly, "Mikey."
Mikey stared at him, "Gerard...w-what are you..." He looked at me but then back at Gerard. He shut the door behind him as he stepped outside, "Gerard, you're supposed to be in the institution. You know you're troubled."
Gee frowned but said nothing.
"Gerard, did you just leave? Did someone check you out? I thought the judge said you couldn't leave..." Mikey kept rambling on which was really pissing me the fuck off. I tightened my jaw. I looked at Gerard whose eyes were becoming glassy. He rubbed his arm with his other hand with shaken nerves.
I walked up the porch and without hesitation, I said with a strong voice, "You have to be fucking kidding me. Your brother came all this way to see you and you're just going to talk about the institute? Do you know how miserable he was in there-? No, wait, you didn't because you never took the time to visit him."
Holy shit, Frankie.
"Holy shit, Frankie." Gerard looked at me.
Mikey inspected me without a word. He then sighed as he opened the front door, "Come inside, guys."
