Save Yourself, I'll Hold Them Back

Patrick smiled, "I'll hold back the police for as long as I can. The highway isn't far from here. Just keep running."
I smiled, "Thanks, Patrick." Gerard held my hand and pulled me away, "Hurry, Frankie." He whined but in a very cute way.
I waved bye to Patrick before Gee and I ran through the trees. The leaves crunched underneath our shoes as we passed the thick trees. Gerard panted, "I can't believe I'll get to see my brother." He smiled excitedly, "It's been so long." He stopped and rested the palms of his hands on kness, slightly bending over, "God I hate running." He grinned at me, "Do you think my brother will be happy to see me?"
"He's your brother, why wouldn't he?"
Gee shrugged, "Well, he's hasn't exactly visit me since I was I court..." He put on a smile, "I guess we'll never know until I see him." He tightened his grip on my hand, "Let's go," we ran hand in hand through the forest. I was panting from exhaustion, but my eyes were looking around to the tall trees. The sun was shining through their leaves, giving them extra beauty. I looked over to Gerard who was more focused on what was up ahead of him. He was excited about seeing his brother. I would too if I were him. It's been so long. Then again, his brother hasn't visit Gee at all when he was institutionalized...maybe his brother was still scarred from their younger experience...and if he was, I doubt he would want to see Gee.
