Do You Wanna Hold My Hand?

* a week before school starts*
well we finally left chicago and were on our ways to our new place. Es and I have been a little moody about leaving but eventually accepted. Right now i was reading a book and listening to my mp3, Es was asleep on my shoulder. WE HAVE BEEN IN THE ROAD FOR HOURS AND MY ASS HURTS!
"we're here!" my mom said happily as my dad put the car on park
"thank god my ass hurts like hell" i grumbled, i shook es awake and she grumbled too but got out after rubbing her eyes. I put my things in my bag and got out of the car as well.
I strared at a two story house that didnt look very old but not very new either. my mom and dad were getting some left over things from the car that the movers didnt move. I took a look around the street and for some reason i felt like i've seen this neighborhood before. I saw my mom come back out and I went towards her
"uh mom, where are we exactly?"
"home!" she chirped
"...noo home is in chicago with our friends like bella and bob who i have known since i was 7. not here in wherever town this is with people we dont know at all" of course my response got a glare
"kara. please dont start. this is belleville... new jersey."
"NEW JERSEY?! mom you just moved us from a city where you said was too dangerous for us to grow up in to a town that 5 dead bodies where found in a street over! Thats why i recognize this neighborhood! i read about it! how is it any better!?" my mom waved her hand from being annoyed and walked away.
"stop fighting and get your last box!"
OH YOU HAVE TO BE FUCKING KIDDING ME! UGH

i got into a room where i saw my name in boxes and set down my stuff. i looked around and saw windows. there was a part of the roof that looked like a patio under my windows and decided that i could paint and write there (i was gunna have to make the best of this right?)
