If Lies Could Speak The Truth Then You'd Know Me

I'm walking to work. I need to pay for stuff for my baby right? I can't rely on Gee for everything. Sure he thinks I'm just out for a walk but it's better this way. I walk into the bookstore and start assisting customers with where everything is and helping the with their digital box as well. I spend a whole twelve hours working. From open to close. I left and started walking it was dark and the summer air smells sweet. Fireflies dance around in the night. I arrive home and Gee looks worried sick. "Where were you?!" He asks jumping up and wrapping his arms around me. "Walking." I reply. "No you weren't." He says and I simply leave. "I'm tired good night Gee." I respond before going up the stairs to his room an going to sleep.
