Short stories.

Ray was in his apartment, playing videogames, just like he used to do when he was a teen. He played a horror game, called Slender, where the purpose was to find notes and to NEVER look back. Of course that is hard and creepy as hell, because you know there's something behind you, but will kill you if you look at it.

''You found 8/9 notes.'' the text on the screen said. 'Almost, almost.' Ray whispered. He heard something behind him and looked back. There was the tall creature, with long tentacles and a white face, well not exactly a face, more like just a white bowlingball or something. Anyway, Slender killed Ray.
"Never look back.'' the game told him and Ray threw his controller on the ground in a fit of frustration. 'Fuck, fuck, fuck.' Ray said, and then he started laughing. 'I act like a kid.' he took a beer out of the fridge and turned on a horrormovie.
Tomorrow will be fun, because he will go to the forest with his dog, Spike, to take a really long walk. That was the last thing he thought before falling in a peaceful sleep.

*Next day*

Ray and Spike were in the car, going to the forest, which was only a 30 minute drive. When they arrived Ray let Spike out of the car and watched Spike jump and be all happy and exploring the area. Ray started walking, and found a stick which he threw for Spike. They both really liked that game. They wandered through the forest for a while, until Spike saw a bunny, and started chasing it, leaving Ray behind. 'Spike! Come back here! Spike!' Spike didn't come back. Ray started running the same direction as Spike ran, but he didn't find Spike, instead, he got lost.
Ray looked for Spike and the way to his car for hours, but he was only getting more lost. It was getting dark, and Ray grew more scared by the minute. He ran through the forest in blind panic, trying to find his dog. No sign of the big black Labrador.

Then, Ray heard a noise which he couldn't identify and hoped that it was his dog. He saw something white, like a note. He picked it up, it read ''Never look back.'' Ray was crying by now, and decided to do what the note wanted him to do; he ran, and didn't look back. He ran and he ran, he didn't know where he was going. He heard barking behind him and looked back. He saw Spike, but he also saw a tall figure wearing a suit, with a white face. He turned back around and slowly started walking. He knew what was going on. 'Spike!' he called and hoped that Spike was able to find the way home without leading him directly into Slenderman's tentacles. Unfortunately, Spike saw Slender and ran away, making a noise as if he was scared, which he probably was. Ray started running again, 'cause he knew that Slender was right behind him. He ran the same direction as Spike ran, hoping that Spike was going to the car. Yes! There it was! His car! And Spike was there too! He unlocked and opened the door for Spike and but before he could close it Spike jumped out again and ran. Ray turned around, and there stood Slenderman.
''Never look back.'' He said, and killed Ray.
