Everything Will Be OK

***Taylor’s POV***
After a half hour had past, I heard the sound of the front door slam from downstairs. I already knew it was Gerard. I quickly shut my door and laid in my bed in case if he were to check on me. I began to hear the sound of his footsteps go up the stairway as I remained still. As he was beginning to walk pass my door, I heard him stop. He then slowly creaked open my bedroom door as I closed my eyes so he would think I was asleep. “Taylor?” He whispered. “Are you awake?” I didn’t respond as I kept my eyes shut. He sighed as he walked over to me. The touch of his hand brushed across my cheek. I was then confused when I began to hear Gerard sniffle. Was he crying? Oh my god he was…but why would he be crying? I thought he was angry at me…

***Gerard’s POV***
As I left Taylor’s room, more tears began to fall. I hadn’t cried in so long, but now that it was happening, I could stop the tears from falling. Was she cheating on me? I know Dave wasn’t in the shop with her yesterday, but could that have meant that she was seeing someone else? I headed down the stairs as I buried my face into the couch. I didn’t know what to do with myself at this point. I was honestly falling apart once again. As I continued to cry into the cushion, a thought came to me. What if later that night, Dave came back to the shop? That would make a lot of sense since he had only showed me a few minutes of the security footage. I knew I could never trust Dave. My face grew hot as my sadness was now replaced with full on anger. I can’t fuckin believe Taylor would betray me like that…Even after she would always say that she loved me. But did she really? Did she really actually mean it when she said she loved me? Of course not…and I was stupid enough to believe she did. I then got off the couch as I headed over to the kitchen. I put my hand on the handle of the fridge, when I opened it to see that we were out of Budweiser. “Ugh Fuck!” I yelled as I heard someone enter the house. It was Mikey. “Whoa dude what’s got you so fired up?” He asked with a startled look on his face. I sighed. “Nothing…why aren’t you at school? It’s 1oclock.” He bit his lip. “Well actually I’ve been at Brooke’s all day…please don’t be mad…” He replied, tense on how I would react. “I’m not mad…” I mumbled. He sighed with relief. “Just don’t miss any more days of school, alright?” He nodded. “Alright. Thanks Gee.” He beamed. “So you really like this girl huh?” I was much calmer now. “Yeah, she’s the best. We have so much in common and I-I think she might be the one…” A weak smile spread onto my face. “That’s great to here Mikes…I’m really happy for you…” He frowned. “Seriously though Gerard…Are you doing alright? I can tell that there is something bugging you…” I nervously rubbed the back of my neck. “I’m ok…just don’t worry about it…” He gave me an unsatisfied look. “Alright…well um I kind of want to ask you something…”I turned to face him. “Yeah? What is it?” I asked, furrowing my eyebrows. “Well I was thinking… could we maybe have Brooke over for dinner tonight?” I nodded. “Yeah, sure. She’s a nice girl.” I replied. “Oh and um can her brother come over too? He’s really cool, and I think you would like him.” I giggled. “Yeah that’s fine.” He then embraced me into a huge hug. “Thank you so much! I’m gonna go call her now.” He said as he went to go reach for the phone.
