Everything Will Be OK

***Taylor’s POV***
I didn’t say a word to Gerard once I got out of the car. He was annoying me so much right now. Like did he really have to give me detention? It’s not like I actually did anything bad. I quickly stomped angrily up the stairs and headed towards my bedroom, when I ran into Mikey. He could probably tell I was angry. “Taylor, what’s got you so riled up?” He asked concerned. “Your immature brother of yours.” I grumbled. He furrowed his eyebrows. “What do you mean?” He asked confused. “Look, Mikey I’m really not in the mood to talk right now.” I said as I brushed passed him and hurried over to my room. I was so frustrated that I just wanted to scream. First, he had the nerve to break up with me after one date, then embarrass me in front of Nathan, give me detention, and then snoop through my phone. And after all that, he actually expects me to forgive him? I sighed and felt my pocket for my phone so I could text Nathan. My pockets were empty. Where the hell was my phone? That’s when I remembered I left it in my bag…and my bag was in the car…Shit. Now I have to go all the way downstairs and hope that Gerard doesn’t see me or talk to me. I took a deep breath and walked my way down the staircase. When I finally got to the last step, I saw Gerard sitting at the kitchen table before me. He brought his eyes up to me. “Hi…” Gerard nervously greeted. I didn’t respond. “When are you going to stop being mad at me?” He desperately asked. I rolled my eyes. “Taylor, just talk to me…” I crossed my arms. “I didn’t come down here to have a conversation with you…I came to get my phone…” I hissed. “You mean this?” He said with my iPhone in his hand. “Give that to me!” I demanded. “Why should I give it to you?” A wide smirk spread across his face. “Cause its mine!” I yelled. I tried my best to take it away from his grasp but he kept it out of my reach. “Gerard, stop! Seriously, give it back!” I could tell he was enjoying this. “I will give it back to you on one condition…” I groaned. “Ugh what do you want?” I asked, obviously annoyed. “You can have it, if you promise to stop ignoring me.” I gave in. “Alright ill stop ignoring you…now give me back my phone.” I begged. He finally handed it back to me. “Why did you take it out of my bag anyway?” I asked curiously. “I didn’t. It fell out of your bag in the car.” He replied. “Oh ok…” We then fell into an awkward silence. “Gerard, can I admit something? “Hi gorgeous hazel eyes met mine. “Yeah what is it?” I tried to find the right words to say. “I miss what we had…” I confessed. His face was full of sorrow. “I-I do too…like you wouldn’t believe…” He mumbled. “Then why did you do it?” I asked. “Do what?” He gave me a puzzled look. “Why did you break up with me?” He rubbed the back of his neck. “Taylor, it’s a lot to explain right now.” “Come on just tell me.” I pleaded. “I’ll tell you when I feel like the time is right. He put his hand on my shoulder. “But why can’t you just tell me now? I don’t understand why it has to be so complicated."I pouted. “Look its getting pretty late, so I think you should get to bed. I will tell you another time. Ok?” I sighed. “Ok...” He gave me a quick peck on the lips. “Goodnight sugar.” He whispered in my ear. “Goodnight.” I said as I walked back up the stairs to finally get some sleep.
