Everything Will Be OK

I spent most of the period trying to avoid eye contact with my teacher. I knew he probably hated me now for what I did to him earlier. Ugh why do I have to be so horrible at making good first impressions! If only I could just disappear...

I begin to start on the project that Mr. Way assigns us. As I am halfway through my drawing, I notice my art teacher leaning over my desk. "Not bad." He comments. and walks off to see the other students' drawings. I roll my eyes and sigh. Will this day just end already!

I finally finished my drawing and took out my phone to listen to some music. I begin to listen to some of the "Save Rock 'n Roll" album when I notice a tall figure standing over me. It was Mr. Way. Fuck. He was tapping his foot impatiently."And what do you think you're doing?" He asks in an angry tone, the whole class's gazes directly on me. I pull out each earphone, one at a time. "Listening to music. "I say under my breath. "Did I say you could have your phone out during class time! "He yells. I shrug. "Give me your phone."He reaches his palm out. "No!" I remark. "What did you just say! "I could tell now that he was definitely angry.He yanked the phone out of my hand."You just earned yourself a detetion! You wil receive your phone back at the end of the day."
Great job Taylor you just got yourself a detention on your first day.
