Welcome to the Black Parade

*Jade’s POV*


After freshening myself up, I decided it was time to meet everyone. I walked down the crooked stairs to a small hall. This place looks like it was in World War 2 with the dull grey buildings with smoke coming out of all directions. The smoke obviously didn’t affect me as I’m dead. It’s strange because I thought being dead would be all different. I mean I have emotions and I still breathe even though it’s just smoke. This place is weirdly sad but beautiful at the same time. A strange beauty.

There is lack of colour here compared to what I’m used to. Greys and greys thrown everywhere.

A small bang happened to the left of me and I turned my head towards it.

“Hello, I’m sorry err Jade for making you jump” Ray said to me.

“It’s okay, Gerard told me to meet him downstairs to meet everyone but I don’t know where he is.”

“Follow me ‘mam and I will lead you to him” he smiled.

“Thank you Ray”

“No problem sugar”


Ray led the way to Gerard and the crew. I don’t know why but I am nervous. I am normally a really confident person but since I died I changed and my confidence levels dropped.

“Jade there you are!” I heard that familiar voice shout.

“Hello Gerard” I grinned at him. He’s so cute.

“Well I want you to meet everyone here so let’s begin?”

“Sure thing honey”

“Jade you also look really beautiful in that black dress”

And here come the blushes…

“Thank you Gerard”.

We walked into a slightly bigger hall and there were a lot of people there. The funny thing about the parade is that there aren’t many people that have died living here. All the people living here had the same life style back on earth.

“Jade this is Fear and Regret. They are twins and Fear is Frank’s girlfriend and Regret is Mikey’s girlfriend.”

“Hello nice to meet you both” I said shaking both of their hands.

“Hi, you must be Jade, Gerard don’t stop talking about you.” Fear said as Gerard’s face went about 10 shades redder.

“Jades my name, and aww what is there to talk about me?”

“A lot according to Gerard” regret replied.

“Anyway we have a lot of people for you to meet jade so better get going.” Gerard announced.

“Uh yeah sure, it was nice meeting you both” It was nice meeting them. I think they are both lovely and hopefully I will become closer to them both.

“So nice to meet you two” they said in sync.


Gerard and I walked off to someone else.

“I know you’ve met Bob but you haven’t met his house of wolves so I’m just going to introduce you again to the fluffy animals”

“Wolves?” I was really confused what he meant… I mean I haven’t seen wolves since I was a kid as the government took over and killed the wolves off as they had some sort of power over them or something? I’m not sure of the complete story.

As we got closer to Bob you could hear a lot of howling (obviously from the wolves).

“Oh hello Jade, welcome to my house of wolves” Bob said with a huge grin, “this is Angel my main pup”

“She doesn’t bite” Gerard added.

I leant down and stroked the wolf. She is beautiful with her fur coat. I guess that’s probably another reason why the government killed them off as they are such beautiful different creatures.


Gerard took me around to see everyone else there. I met (and re-met) Ray, Mikey, Frank, the little skeletons (who are cute as hell), some solders that looked like they were from the world war ect…


There was just one person I haven’t met yet.

“Jade are you ready to meet Mother War?”
