Hide Your Face, So The World Will Never Find You

After only walking a few feet away I heard Frank sob and mutter,

"She's right,"

I laughed to myself. It was all finally coming together. I walked around until I saw our medical tent, I peeked in to see Buzzkill, awake as always,

"Oi~ I'm gonna do a late night scout"

"Be safe Phantom"

"Yes Dad"

He rolled his eyes and so did I. Leaving the tent area I walked towards the woods to find my car. Jumping in I took off. Speeding down an all to familiar dirt road. I began singing randomly, I song I heard Gerard sing.

"Sing it out,

Girl you've got to see what..."


Growling I clenched my hands on the wheel. My feelings for Gee are getting out of hand. I would ruin everything my father created, and he'd never forgive me. I stopped singing, but his voice was in my head. I was in love with the enemy. How cliché.

Pulling into town I drove till I found Blink's head building. I shrugged off my jacket to reveal my 'Keep Smiling' tattoo. I walked straight through the front doors. None of the soldiers paid me any mind. Obviously. I was their leaders daughter.

After two boring elevator rides and a metal detector, I was finally in front of my father's office. I didn't bother knocking. I walked right in.

"Ah, Katherine, good to see you dear"

"Hello father"

"Is everything going to plan?"

"Yes father, all four of them are at my camp,"

"All four?"

"Yes, at first we believed it was only Iero, Toro, and Way, turns out there is also Gerard Way, Mikey's older brother"

"Gerard Way?"

"Yes, I found him on the side of the road."

"You speak fondly of him"

"No, it's just a surprise he is with them"

Lying straight through my teeth I looked eye to eye with my father as he spoke,

"We attack your camp tomorrow. At dawn. Let us get a hold of the younger Way. Then your job is done and you can come home."

"Why Mikey?"

"Because, Family comes first. Gerard will come running for his brother, and knowing that group the other two will follow, then we will have them all. Destroying the Killjoy's hope. We will win my dear daughter"

"Yes father"

"See you tomorrow"
