I stared aimlessly at his lifeless body. My mind went blank. Never again will I be able to ruffle his hair to look the way it does now. Never again will I get to look at his hazel eyes which were hidden away by his pale eyelids. His face wore a gloomy look which made me feel worse as I knew, I would never be able to make him smile again. A warm hand grasped my shoulder as its fingers rubbed slowly. I lent down a kissed his cold lips for the last time before turning around to the hands owners. In front of me stood Mikey in all black. His eyes were red with sorrow.

I hadn’t cried yet.

I had to be strong, for his sake.
