Well.. this was inevitable. Did we actua"lly not see this coming? When Gerard walked into Mikey's room, he was shocked, and rightly so. When Gerard walked in on Mikey having sex. The girl was hiding herself underneath Mikey's bedspread. Mikey just sat on the edge of his bed, hunched over, with his head in his hands. In that moment, the tension was so thick that it blanketed the entire room. The entire situation became much more tense when Mikey was the first to break the silence.
"Gerard... it's not what it looks like." he just sort of quietly mumbled.
Gerard gave out a sarcastic little laugh and spoke.
"No, it's exactly what it looks like, you're trying to have sex while our parents aren't home. For godsakes, Mikey, you didn't even lock the door.''
"What do you want, Gerard?"
"Well, first of, I want your little girlfriend to leave. Secondly, I'm borrowing one of your shirts. Wow, I come to try and get to borrow a shirt. You come because you're trying to get off." Gerard said while going through his little brother's closet for a decent shirt.
He continued his lecture, but at the same time he wanted to leave as soon as possible.
"I mean, you're thirteen. What if something went wrong? Try explaining that to Mom.'Hey, Mom! I know you;re busty and all but I'm going to be a barely teenage father, isn't that great?!"
Gerard finally pulled out an appropriate shirt and began to leave.
Mikey only responded with three words, "Don't tell Mom."
"We're going to talk about this later, you do realize that right? Also, of course I'm going to tell Mom, get your friend out of here within the next five minutes, now!" Gerard shouted to Mikey just as he left his bedroom.
After setting his little brother straight, Gerard to his room and locked the door, unlike his brother. He took off the basic white undershirt he was wearing to put on Mikey's shirt. It was a nice shirt, it was one with the RVCA logo on it. Very casual douchbag.
Hang on, I promise I'll get back to the story soon, but can I just point out one thing? When you think about it, isn't Gerard essentially just trying to do the same thing as Mikey? of course he is, just on a less extreme level. Frank on the other hand, however.. he's another story. Once he put on the shirt, Frank called. Gerard awkwardly fumbled around his pockets to try and find his phone. Once he did and realized it was Frank, he slid 'accept' and instantly said, 'Hello?'
"Hey Gerard, it's me. I was wondering if it's okay if I cxome over a little earlier than we planned?"
"Yeah, Frank that's fine. Come over as early as you'd like. It's no big deal."
"Okay, I'll be there soon."
"Okay, bye."
"Bye."
Frank and Gerard hung up at the same time.
Gerard was heading back to Mikey's room to see if the random chick he was doing was gone, it had been five minutes, right? Whatever, Gerard didn't care either way, he had to go check on his little brother. Just to make sure he wasn't trying to get a special goodbye kiss. He slowly walked down the hallway and opened the doorknob of Mikey's bedroom even slower. He opened it so slowly that it was the same level as psycho-killer.Once he was inside, only four words in total were exchanged.
"Is she gone?"
"Yes..."
After the short exchange, the doorbell rang.
"Frankie!" Gerard thought to himself.
He calmly shut the door and ran downstairs to answer the door. Gerard stood on one side of the door, Frank was on the other side. Gerard gave his hair one last adjustment before he opened the door.
"Hey, Frank. Can we talk?
"Sure, let's go upstairs."
The two walked upstairs together. When they passed Mikey's room, Mikey was silent. They eventually got to Gerard's room and went inside.
"Something really serious happened. Can I tell you about it?"
"Gerard, of course. Sit down and tell me what happened." Frank said while reaching for Gerard's hand. Gerard blushed on the inside, this has never happened before. Frank held onto his crush's hand and walked towards Gerard's bed together. Once they were both sitting, Frank spoke.
"Did something happen? Tell me everything." he said
"I saw someone doing something they shouldn't have and I don't know what I should do about it." Gerard said while tearing up slightly.
Frank recognized Gerard's pain and comforted him by engaging a cuddle. After perfectly getting Gerard where Frank wanted him, he spoke.
"Gerard, please tell me what happened." Frank asked with a concerned tone in his voice.
"I walked in on my brother having sex."
Gerard could barely say the words out loud. He said them anyway though, and he busted out in tears. Real, legitimate, tears.
"Hey man, it's gonna be okay. L-look, I promise we're gonna fix this. Come here." Frank said as he pulled Gerard into a cuddling position.
This was a major breakthrough moment for them. The two were laying in bed together, cuddling. It was just as adorable as it seems.
"Do you want me to talk to him?" Frank asked.
Gerard was conflicted about this question. On one hand, he honestly didn't want to have to talk to Mikey about what he had done. But on the other hand, he knew Mikey would feel betrayed if anyone else but him talked to him about the situation.
"I-I don't know." he replied
"It's okay, you can decide later." Frank said
Frank stroked Gerard's black hair in attempts to comfort him while he sobbed uncontrolablely.
"You shouldn't cry Gerard. This is not your fault, it's your little brother's. Seriously, you didn't cause this and no matter what happens to him just know, you're not to blame."
After that calming speech, Gerard began to return back to normal.
"Thanks Frank, I needed that."
Frank began to ask the one question that would change their entire relationship.
"No problem. So... do you still want to go to Prom with me? N-not as friends. a-as like... a date?
