Cemetery Drive

Gerard watched Brendon and Frank walk down the driveway. He felt a wave of jealousy hit him as he watched Brendon grab Frank's hand. That should be me holding his hand, Gerard thought. He watched Brendon lean towards Frank and press a kiss on his cheek. Gerard's fingernails dug into the palms of his hands as he watched Frank giggle. God how he loved Frank's giggle.
"What's going on?" Mikey's voice made Gerard jump. He turned to his younger brother.
"What do you mean?" he said bluntly, although he knew what Mikey meant.
"You and Frank? What's happening?" Mikey took a step into Gerard's room, glaring at his older brother.
"Nothing, Mikes. It was a mistake" Gerard gave Mikey a fake smile, trying to make it believable.
"Brendon may believe you, but i'm not stupid, Gerard. Something's going on. It's not right" Mikey carried on glaring at his brother, feeling extremely angry.
"Mikey, don't be so silly-"
"Gerard, do you know how fucking wrong it is? Having a relationship with your student! Especially Frank, like, really?! Frank? Of all people, Gee! You picked the suicidal one!" Mikey shouted at his brother, making him jump from his younger brother's outburst.
"Mikey, you don't understand-" Gerard tried to explain himself but was interrupted by his brother again.
"Call it off, Gerard. Stop doing this to him, just stop. It's disgusting! He's only 17! God Gee" Mikey gave Gerard a disgusted look before leaving the room. Gerard was left alone, feeling shocked. He sighed heavily and fell down onto his bed, pulling his phone out his pocket. He quickly dialled Frank's number and waited for him to answer.
Frank answered after the third ring.
"H-Hello?" Frank's voice sent butterflies to swarm in Gerard's stomach.
"Hey, Frank. It's me.. Uh.. meet me at five, at the park, yeah? I need to tell you something" Gerard's voice was rushed and Frank nearly didn't understand him.
"Um, okay Gee, i'll see you there" Frank agreed and hung up quickly. Gerard sighed again and pushed his head in his hands. He didn't want to do this. But he had and he hated himself for it.
