Counting Down The Days To Go (Frerard)

Bucket List

GERARD'S P.O.V.

We woke up the next morning in my unmade bed, our limbs tangled with eachother's. I slowly opened my eyes, allowing my eyes to adjust to the light flooding in from my window. My gaze wandered over to Frank. He was snuggled into my chest and soft snoring away. I chuckled a bit. He was so cute when he was sleeping. His eyes suddenly fluttered open and he groaned, probably because I woke him. He tipped his head up a bit until he could clearly see my face and smiled. "Morning, sunshine," I told him, my voice coarse.
"Moooorning." He wrapped his arms around me and pulled himself closer to me. I kissed the top of his head and felt him smile against my skin. There was a knock on my door and I looked over. The door swung open and standing in the doorway was Mikey. He looked up to see us cuddling and smiled.
"Mom made pancakes. Come down whenever you guys are ready." I nodded and he softly shut the door.
"I'm hungry but I don't wanna get up," Frankie whined.
"I'm hungry but you're being lazy and clinging onto me." He laughed.
"Fiine." He let go of me and sat up on my bed as he yawned. I looked at his neck again, it was still covered in dark purple love bites. But, more than likely, mine was too. Down his back were pink-red scratches, from last night. I felt myself blush a bit as I sat up as well. "Will your parents care if I'm shirtless?" he asked me. "I don't feel like getting dressed."
"Well, you have scratches all down your back and our necks are covered in hickies. Probably. But I've a certain affinity to pissing them off lately, so..." He chuckled.
"They can't exactly kick me out, either."

"Morning!" I called to my parents as me and Frankie sat down next to eachother Mom looked up from her paper and gasped as her gaze landed on us. I resisted the urge to smirk as I intertwined my fingers with his, putting our hands on the table so my mom could see that. She opened her mouth to say something when Mikey plopped down beside me, shutting her up. I turned to Mikey, an eyebrow quirked in confusion.
"I told them I'd start doing drugs if they didn't piss off about you two being gay," he told me. I laughed.
"Really? Drugs?" He simply nodded.
I hadn't realized Frank had gotten up until he stuck his hand in the space between mine and Mikey's head, a plate of pancakes in his hand. I smiled and took it from him. He sat back down next to me and immediately dug in. I laughed as I watched him stuff the pancakes in his mouth, as if he hadn't eaten in years. I followed suit, and within a few minutes we had both finished our stack of 5 pancakes each. I downed my pills with a glass of milk. Mom cleared her throat and all of us looked up. "So, Frank, uh, have-- have you been told yet?"
"That Gee has cancer or that you have P-O-A over me?"
"Uh, both."
"Ah. Well, I figured since you have attorney over me, it made sense that I maybe..." He turned to me, an eyebrow raised, "... move in?"
"U-Um..." Mom stuttered. "Yes. I'm fine with it. Can-can I ask why your mother decided this?"
"His mom and him don't get along," I interjected. Mom slowly nodded her head.
"But don't you have a sister?" Dad, who was still in the kitchen waiting for his coffee, asked.
"I do. But she'll be fine. I'm sure." Frank leaned over to rest his head on my shoulder. "I have all my stuff."
"You got Pansy?" I asked him.
"Ah, shit, no. I'll get it later." He winced a bit when he realized he cussed, but my mom didn't seem to notice. She did, however, seem uncomfortable with this. But I knew she was just being homophobic again. There was suddenly a knock on the front door. Mom was about to get up to get it when Mikey dashed over. He swung it open and standing there was Ray and Bob, his friends from school. They walked in, and following them was Patrick and his friends. He was laughing and talking with Pete, so I guess they're best buddies again. Joe looked over and saw me and Frank, covered in hickies, and laughed.
"Are we walking in on something?" he asked. We both laughed. Mom glared at the group of boys, obviously annoyed, and stomped up to her room. Dad followed soon after.
"Gee, should we go, like, get dressed?" Frank asked. I shrugged.
"They don't care."
Patrick came up to us, a smile on his face and a notebook in his hands. "We are here today, my young friends, to create a bucket list for Gerard."
"I made one already," I told him.
"Ah, Mikey boy here told me. But it had four things. What were they again, Pete?"
"Perform on stage in front of more than 10 people, get over your damn social anxiety, tell Frank, don't break his heart," Pete said in a monotone, as if he had uttered it a thousand times before.
"See? Four things," Patrick repeated. "We're gonna make you a real bucket list."
"You guys should probably get dressed though!" Bob called from the couch. I nodded and turned to Frank, who smiled. I took his hand and went upstairs with him to get dressed.

"Gee?" Frank asked as I slipped on a pair of sweatpants.
"Yeah, Frankie?"
"Can I ask, who was that Brendon guy?"
"Oh, is my Frankie jealous?" I asked teasingly.
"No!" he exclaimed, a blush spreading on his face, "I was just wondering."
"Well, my parents thought taking me to a different psychiatrist during that week we didn't see eachother would be a good idea," I explained. "I met Brendon while waiting outside for the doctor."
"Oh."
"He has a boyfriend and I love you too much to cheat," I told him as I pulled his now-clothed body into a hug. I kissed the top of his head and pulled away, smiling. "Let's go join the guys in their festivity of creating my bucket list."
"Get kicked out of a Wal-Mart," Joe said out loud as he scribbled the words down on the notebook.
"We've already been kicked out of a McDonald's," Frank blurted out.
"Dude, really?" Frank nodded as he chuckled.
"Ooh, I've got one!" Andy yelled, opening his palms and closing them like a child. He grabbed the notebook from Joe. He scribbled something down and handed it to me.
Get in a high-speed car chase like in the movies.
I rolled my eyes and stared at Andy, a disappointed-but-amused look on my face.
"You could at least try to make it realistic," I told him. He held his hands above his head in defense.
"Fine, how about you get a tattoo?" he responded. I frantically shook my head.
"No," I told them, my eyes wide. "No no no no no. I hate needles. I hate them with a burning passion. I hate them like Gordon Ramsey hates the majority of the human population."
"Fine then," Frank butt in. "Come with me to get a tattoo." I turned to him and he smiled weakly. I grabbed the pencil from Andy's hand and wrote it on the page. Frankie leaned over to kiss me on the cheek.
"When's the wedding?" asked Mikey, half-way from across the room. I laughed.
"So, what do we got so far for your bucket list?" Ray questioned. I cleared my throat and began to read the list we had started.

Go on a ghost hunt
Watch a sunrise and sunset in the same day
Visit 5 different museums in a day
Sing karaoke in public
Ride in a canoe and/or kayak
Sew something wearable
Ride a segway
Get a makeover at a salon
Name a star
Give up meat (for at least a week)
Host a dinner party

"I-I..." I stuttered, "I was expecting something like 'suck a dick lol' on here."
"Do we really seem like that?" Pete piped up. I shot him a glare that said it all. He chuckled. Frank wrapped his arms around me and leaned into my side. "'kay, so, we met this guy a few days ago. Says he knows you. Name is Brendon?"
"Oh. Choppy hair, big forehead?"
"Yeah! We should all get together sometime."
"The only place we ever meet up is my house, and there's already 6 guys I have to take care of other than Mikey and Frank, do you really think I could stand Brendon and his friends?" I said, smirking and raising an eyebrow.
"Speaking of that, we should probably get going," Patrick butt in, "we got a gig tonight."
I tilted my head in confusion.
"Did we never tell you about our band?" Joe asked. I shook my head.
"Oh, you should come see us play! Playing at, uh, Little Jimmy's, I think it's called. 5 pm. Sharp." The guys gathered up their bags and strode out the door. I turned to Mikey's friends to see them going upstairs.
"You wanna go?" blurted Frankie. I slowly nodded and turned to him.
"But not before we make out a little." He lifted his head, confused, and I pulled him in for a kiss. He giggled and ran his hands through my hair, pulling me closer as he laid down. I tugged a bit on his lip ring, eliciting a moan from him, which I took advantage of by slipping my tongue into his mouth. I heard a cough behind us and I immediately pulled away. I took a second to take in Frank's features, he was already blushing madly and panting and his forehead shiny with sweat, before looking up to the cough. Mikey was standing there, his face in his hands.
"Why does my brother have to be so gaaaay?" he groaned.
"Why does my brother have to be so straaaight?" I teased. He laughed.
"Anyways," he uncovered his face, which was red from either embarrassment or shame, "are you guys going to Pat's gig?" We both nodded. "Just asking. Don't start making out while you're there, 'kay? Don't wanna scare people away." He went back upstairs, his face still red.
"I'm still not gonna keep my hands off you," I murmured once I heard Mikey's door slam. Frank giggled.
"Are you always gonna be like this?"
"I'm a horny teenager who has a boyfriend," I answered, "what do you expect?" He leaned over to kiss my cheek.
"Y'know, pretty soon, our relationship would be illegal. My birthday is in October."
"Do you really think I care?"

Notes

I REALLY DON'T LIKE THIS CHAPTER
also i realized today my definition of power of attorney is actually off from the actual definition
it means you have control over financial and legal matters of a person
i thought it meant that they basically become your guardian
//awkward laughing//
yeah bye
