Counting Down The Days To Go (Frerard)

'Till Your Breathing Stops, Forever

I sighed as I stuffed my hands in the pocket of my jeans. I had been searching for Frank for about half an hour now, and there was no luck. It was about 11 now, and the sun had nearly risen high in the sky. The heat beamed down on me, as I aimless walked the streets looking for my boyfriend. I sighed again. Mom was an overall supportive mother, but I knew deep down that this would happen when I came out. But I don't care how bigoted my parents are, I will stay with him. I truly love him, and they can't stop that. I was walking past the local park when I saw a figure sitting in the shade of a nearly-dead oak tree. The person was sitting with their knees held to their chest and their forehead to their knees. Dark hair covered their pale arms. I immediately began to ran over to the figure. My hopes of it being Frank were not dashed. Sobs wracked through his frail body. I slowly kneeled next to him and put a hand on his shoulder. He flinched and shot his head up. He smiled weakly upon realizing who I was. "G-Gerard..." he stuttered. I immediately pulled him into a hug. He sobbed into the crook of my neck, gripping on to my shirt. I stroked his hair until he calmed down. Once he pulled away, he smiled weakly. "Gerard, am-am-am... am I the problem here?" he stuttered.
"What? No. No! Why would you--"
"I kn-know I am... I'm just a burd-burden, aren't-t I?"
I cupped his face with my hands and pulled him close, staring into his eyes. "Frankie, please," I told him, "don't ever say that about yourself." I kissed him softly on the lips.
"Gerard?"
"Yes, babe?" He giggled.
"I... I l-like it when-n you call me ba-babe." He genuinely smiled this time. "But, that's n-n-n-not what I wanted to say... uh, why do you love me?"
I chuckled. "Oh, babe, so many reasons. Your smile. Your eyes. Your piercings. Your laugh. Oh god, your laugh is amazing. Your personality." I looked over to him to see he was smiling from ear to ear. "I could go on forever, Frankie." He pulled me into another hug.
"I'm so happy, Gerard. I thought no one could love me. I cut myself and I'm so weak and..." He sniffled. "I didn't think anyone could love someone as broken as me." He kissed the crook of my neck. "I love everything about you that I possibly could, Gerard." I smiled, but my heart had sank down to my stomach. I knew I would have to tell him eventually. No, stop thinking about it, I told myself. You're ruining the moment. "Gee?"
"Yes, sweetheart?"
"I want to be with you forever. I want to grow old with you. Can we stay like this forever?"
"... o-of course."
At least, until my breathing stops.

The second we began to walk home, Frank's phone went off. "Frank. Mother wants you home. Now," I heard a voice hiss from the phone. Probably his sister.
"Why?"
"Dunno. But she seems calm. Could be a good thing. She says to bring your stuff back, too." He sighed.
"Fine. Fine." He hung up and looked at me as if he was about to cry. "I have to go home, I'm so sorry, Gee."
"It's fine, really." I followed him upstairs, being sure to avoid my parents, and helped him pack his stuff up. "I love you!" I called after him as he began to walk to his house, suitcase in tow.
"Love you too, Gerard Arthur Way!" I smiled and waved.

My first relationship is star-crossed.

Great.
