Agh, I Guess You COULD Call This A "Fanfiction".....
In The Band (Backup Singer, Bullets Era)
Gerard's hazel orbs glanced at you thoughtfully before heading on stage. You tell him that you're nervous, but he only smiles. "Why be nervous, kiddo?" You grin after hearing his saucy accent, replying that most people get nervous before performing to a live audience, especially from such a famous band. Gerard laughs, "Just stay calm." You argue that the whole state of New York has come to see My Chemical Romance perform and that it's impossible to stay calm. You make a point that you are as nervous going onstage as he is nervous with needles.
"You'll do great," he says, adjusting his earpiece. "You're great at a lot of things."
You tell him that you're just a backup singer, and he contradicts by saying, "And I'm just a man in a trench coat, nothing more nothing less."
Frank comes by with his beloved guitar, Pansy. His hair is looking fabulous as always, and he points to your shirt. "Y-you like that band?" he asks, in awe.
You nod proudly, for that was one of your favorites. But, of course, MCR will always be your number one. You nag at Frank that you don't want to go and perform, that you'll make a fool of yourself. "At least you'll look amazing wearing that," he smiles at your usual getup, nothing spectacular. Just a girl in her band merchandise, nothing more than that.
You are set to stand far from Gerard, and you frown. You really wanted to spend the night right next to Gerard, listening to his calming (harsh, at times) voice. The directors of the stage asked you to stand there and do your part. You nod firmly, accepting that you have the privilege to be onstage with the band.
The show starts in thirty seconds exactly. Gerard hugs you tightly before wishing you good luck. "Look alive, sunshine." For that split moment, he sees through your eyes and you see through his. He wasn't under the influence today, but his troubles were seen clearly by you. He could see your troubles, too.
Mikey's his usual "not gonna smile for nothing" kind of self, and Frank (who's new to the band) is slightly nervous. Ray is looking rad. Matt looks like he's having a fairly good time. And the songs begin. In order.
Romance.
Honey, This Mirror Isn't Big Enough For The Two Of Us.
Vampires Will Never Hurt You.
Drowning Lessons.
Our Lady Of Sorrows.
At Headfirst For Halos, he comes to you and wraps his arm around your shoulders. "Think happy thoughts, think happy thoughts..." you sing with him joyfully.
Skylines and Turnstiles.
Early Sunsets Over Monroeville.
This Is The Best Day Ever.
Cubicles.
You lastly sing Demolition lovers proudly with him, and the rest of the band meets you backstage. "Nice work, kiddo!" Ray applauds, and so does the rest of My Chem.
Notes
okay, I had a plan to write these all in different situations. Tell me if you like it, or have any suggestions I should write. I accept criticism, especially on my "romantic " parts, I suck at those :) thank you.
I love this
