I'm not okay (Ferard) (teacher/Student)

After school, I helped Frank clean up his class room so we could go to his house for tutoring. The last class of the day was art today, and Frank decided to trust the students with paint. Of course they put it on each other and all around the class room, so evidently, the paint was a bad idea. I was washing out paint brushes while Frank was washing off the tables. Just as I was finishing with the brushes, I felt Frank come up behind me. I could feel his warm breath on the back of my neck and my breath hitched.
"Are you ready to go?" Frank almost whispered in my ear.
"U- Yeah... Of course. I just finished." I said, nervously.
I started to turn around and Frank quickly realized that turning around wasn't an option for me because he was so close so he moved back a little bit. I was a little disappointed because he wasn't close to me anymore, but he soon put his hand on my back, leading me out the door.
He didn't take his hand off my back until we got to his car. As we were driving I looked out the windows a few times but other than that I really just looked at my hands in my lap.
Frank noticed this and chuckled a little bit before saying, "So those artistic fingers are so interesting, huh?"
He obviously looked like he worked really hard on that one and even tough the joke itself wasn't funny, I laughed at his goofy smile. His smile got even bigger when I laughed I had to laugh even harder, causing him to laugh. I wonder if he was just smiling because I gave him clarification that his joke was funny. I let myself imagine for a little while that he smiled harder because I was laughing, the quickly dismissed it knowing it could never be true.
I looked out the window the rest of the way, realizing how close we were to my house.
When we finally got to his house I realized my house was nearly a block away from his. I smiled little bit, realizing I pass his house everyday on the way to school.
