When Gerard walked in everyone's heads turned. He was one of the unclaimed fertiles and in a school where Doms outnumber Fertile by 3 to 1 being unclaimed is dangerous. Once you find your mate you are mated for life and for a fertile that means protection and the ability to drop out of school before you mature due to Doms being providers. Gerard knew he was desired his pale beautiful face, delicate features and the voice of an angel however he would rather not meet his mate till he graduated so he could be able to provide for himself. He wasn't a vain vampire, he just knew what was attractive and what wasn't to Doms and he certainly was. He didn't enjoy the attention. Doms got physical sometimes he had the bite marks to prove it and if it wasn't for his brother someone could have mated with him without being his true mate. Mikey tried hard to protect Gerard even though he was younger he was much stronger.
