I Hope You Sing Along And You're Still Alive

As soon as Jack started singing ‘What’s This?’ Gerard joined in, his voice meshing perfectly into the song.
“What are you smiling at?” Gerard smirked at me after the song was over.
“You. You’re perfect.” I said, immediately regretting it and wrapping my arms around my legs, trying to curl into a ball.
He wrapped his arm around me and pulled me onto him, running his fingers over my back to calm me down.
“I’m sorry.” I said into his shoulder.
“Don’t be. I think you’re perfect too.”
I pulled away from his shoulder to look at him. There was a blush spreading over his cheekbones, making them even more defined. His body was thin, though it looked like it made no difference to him that I was basically on his lap.
He slowly leaned forward and pressed his lips to mine, moving his hand up my back so he could run his fingers through my hair.
His lips started moving faster and it took all I had to keep up with him.
We slowly pulled apart, grinning at each other every time we made eye contact.
He put his lips right next to my ear, biting down softly before whispering, “Happy birthday, Frankie.”
I snuggled into his chest and we stayed like that for the rest of the movie.
“Still awake?” Gee asked as the credits rolled.
I yawned before replying, “Yeah, but I’m pretty tired. Do you just want to go to sleep?”
“Sure babe.” He picked me up bridal style and walked over to get his duffle bag, then walked to my room, laying me down on the bed before shutting the door.
He turned the light off and crawled in bed with me, which was a first since we normally preferred to fight over who slept on the bed.
His fingers skated over my ribcage in small circles, sending chills to my spine and turning my brain to mush.
“So, how tired are you?” Gerard asked, his voice soft and low, never breaking eye contact with me as he slipped his fingers into the waistband of my pants to drag his short nails across my hipbones,
