I Hope You Sing Along And You're Still Alive

I ended up falling asleep with him in my arms, listening to the faint sound of ‘Kidnap The Sandy Claus’ still being blared from my mum’s room.
Gerard woke me up a few hours later, though it felt like minutes.
“Babe. It’s past three.”
I groaned and flipped onto my stomach, pulling a pillow over my head.
“Is this really the game you want to play?”
I felt his hand go up my shirt and travel over my back, softly kneading the skin over my shoulder blades before digging his nails across my back.
“Ummf that actually feels really good.” I mumbled, growling as he pulled the pillow off of my face.
“Get up you peasant.” He said, hitting me with the pillow after each word.
“Did you call me a peasant?” I asked, sitting up and smirking at him.
“What are you going to do about it?” He cocked his eyebrow.
“This.” I tackled him, pinning him down before tickling him.
He was laughing so hard he could barely form words, but yet he still tried.
“St-stop.”
“Hmm? What’s that?” I asked, tickling him harder.
“J-jerk.” He gasped out, trying to push me off of him.
“I know babe.” I climbed off of him, not before kissing him, and walked over to my mirror, smirking at my reflection.
Gerard got up and wrapped his arms around my waist, smiling at the mirror.
“I love you.” His lips were so close to my neck that I could feel the air brush across it as he talked.
“I love you too.” I kissed him softly, moving my hand up so I could tangle it in his hair.
He eventually pulled away and wrapped me in his arms.
“That’s the first time you’ve said it back.” He said, lacing his fingers in mine and sitting down on the bed.
“I’ve loved you for a long time, Gee. I used to tell you after you fell asleep so you didn’t hear me.”
“Really? God, you should’ve told me. You could’ve woken me up to tell me. Think of all the fun we could’ve had if you had told me earlier.” He mumbled, squeezing my hand softly.
