It's not a Fashion Statement, It's a Deathwish

Brooke Bryar is trapped in a frightening relationship with her abusive boyfriend. Eventually, destiny leads her to a Gerard Way, a painfully introverted boy that refuses to leave the basement of his parent's home.

Each of them are cut off from the real world for different reasons. Can she save him from letting him take his own life as a result of his fear? Can he save her from letting her lover push her to the point of insanity?

This story takes place around the time of 9/11 before the band was formed. It is loosely based on the true events of the beginning of MCR. For example, I chose Bob Bryar to be a character rather than Matt Pelissier. All other members of the band will be included as well.
