" No sweetheart, it isn't your fault. I know I'm not going to make it much longer, so don't try getting help for me. It will just make it worse for you. Don't try to come back for me unless you are sure that he is gone. There is $800 in the night stand. Get that and take whatever clothes you need and leave. I need you to get far from here and hurry quick because I'm sure he'll know something's up. I love you"

I hurried and got everything I was supposed to. Right as I was about to leave out my window, I heard him get out of his chair.
