Who Are You?

Chapter 1

I looked at my reflection for the last time. My boyfriend was picking me up for our two year anniversary and I’m so nervous. I wanted to look perfect. This may sound silly but I really love him and yes I’m only 16 and most people would say I don’t know what love is but they’re wrong. I know they are.
Knock knock
Oh God he’s here. I listen to the mumbling as my brother opens the door.
“Mikey, Ray’s here. You look fine.” He shouts up the stairs. I wander out of my room and make my way down the stairs. When I saw him he took my breath away. It's been two years and every time I see him I fall in love all over again. He was wearing black dress pants, a white shirt with red skinny tie and a black waistcoat. He looked so handsome. I thought about what I was wearing, black skinny jeans, converse a black button down with a blue tie. I felt under dressed and rather self conscious.
“Hey.” I mumbled slowly descending. Ray broke into a massive grin.
“Wow, Mikey you look amazing.” I smiled and hopped down to the floor and into his open arms.
“You look very handsome too baby, I love you.”
“I love you more.”
“You both love each other now leave before I vomit.” Gerard shouted from the basement.
“We’re going, asshole. Are you going to be alright on your own?”
“I’ll be fine, go have fun, be in love. Let me know when you’re coming home.”
“Alright. Let’s go.” I took Ray’s hand and interlaced our fingers. Not letting go until I had to get in the car. When I climbed in I put on Misfits, the best band ever. We set off.
“Where are we going baby?”
“If I told you MikeyWay, It wouldn’t be a surprise would it?”
“But Ray Ray.”
“Mikey, be patient, we’re nearly there.”
“But I want to give you your present; I know you’ll lo…” I never got to finish the sentence. There was a massive crash right next to me. Glass shattered everywhere and my body jerked like a rag doll. My head collided with the dashboard as the car flipped over before finally impacting with a lamp post. I blacked out with the feeling of my bones cracking and tearing the skin, the warm thick blood trickling down various parts of my body. As I slipped into the comforting black abyss, the last thing I heard was Ray screaming my name.

I opened my eyes to see a blinding white piercing my vision. A constant beeping, the only indication of life inhabiting my broken body. I could feel a warm pressure on my left hand. When I opened my eyes I was wrapped in a small hug by… someone. They have wild curly hair, are well built and look like they haven’t slept in ages.
“Oh sweetheart, I’m so happy you’re awake, I was so worried.” He pulled away when I didn’t hug back.
“I’m sorry but… Do I know you?”
