It's Hard to Say I Love You for the First Time (Frerard) *ON HOLD*

I soon realize that I am not doing anything by sitting on a sidewalk in freezing cold weather crying. I pull out my phone from my pocket and call Pete.

I have got to talk to him.

It rung once and I hear his voice.

"FRANK WHERE ARE YOU?!" Pete yells into the phone.

"Down the road, come and get me." I say.

Before I can even hang up I see Pete's car stop right in front of me. I get up with my clothes still in my hand.

We drive back to the scene in complete silence and there are cop cars here.

We get out of the car and I ask Pete questions.

"Why did you hit Gerard?" I say in a stern voice pissed off at him.

"I didn't mean it! I swear! Please believe me!" He yells pleading and begging in his knees.

"I was driving and there was a fucking load if squirrels in the road so I swiveled out if the way but I ended up killing one and when I saw people in the road I slammed on the brakes but it was too late! Please believe me Frankie!" He is crying now as he finishes his sentence if what happened.

I believe him because Pete has never lied to me. Even when he lit our microwave on fire. He bought me a new one and I can trust him.

"It's fine." I say knowing it isn't but he didn't mean it.

He he stands up and hugs me close.

"I'm so, so sorry." He sobs as I feel droplets on my bare shoulder.

The cops come over to us and we tell them what happened. From when I hugged Gerard in the street, I when Pete cried because of his apology.

I decided to not press charges considering Pete didn't mean it but they said they would have to check with Gerard.

I suddenly realize I have to get into the hospital to see him. The cops are still asking Pete questions when I ask them if I could go to the hospital. They say yes and I run home for a shirt. I barge into the house and into my room ripping my drawer out of its place and quickly take a black shirt and shoving it on my head.

I also grab 20 dollars from my drawer just I. Case I need to pick something up for Gerard like something to make him feel better if I can even see him today.

I run back to Pete and by now the cops are gone and I ask him for a ride. He jumps in the car and I do the same and he rushes to the hospital.

When we get to the front desk I don't hesitate to ask the lady questions at all.

"What room is Gerard Way in?!" I ask slamming my hand down on the desk.

"I'm sorry sweetie I can't tell you that." The middle aged woman with light brown hair and brown eyes replies.

"Why not though?!" I say in a really childish voice but I don't care! I want to see my Gerard!

My?

"I can only let family members, spouses, or boyfriends and girlfriend go to the waiting room." She says.

"But I-I AM his boyfriend!" Dammit why did I say that?

"Oh I sorry hun!" She says and tells me the number and floor for Gerard.

I tell Pete I will be back soon and he looks really depressed. I'll ask him what's going on later.

I run to the elevator and go to the 9th floor. I see the waiting room and I go in there and ask the woman at another desk about Gerard.

"Hun, Gerard is in critical condition. He won't be getting any visitors until the operation he is done with having his operation."

My heart stopped when he says it.

Critical Condition?

When ever someone on the new is on critical condition they don't make it.

Gerard may die....
