My Teenage Romance

When my alarm goes off, I jump up. I had been meaning to get up earlier than this, so I could take a shower, so now I’m going to have to hurry. I hurry and take everything I need for the morning into the bathroom with me and get ready for school.
I quickly grab an apple and my backpack, and rush to school. I sit down in my seat a second before the bell rings. Gerard quickly scribbles a note and hands it to me ‘That was a close one’. I look over at him and smile. I didn't think I could pedal my bike that fast, I’m kind of amazed at myself.
Our teacher announces that we are going to start a project with partners. We get to pick our partners, so me and Gerard are together.
“I think we are going to get an A on this. Since we are both artists.”
“Definitely! Now, what are we going to make?”
“Um...maybe we should meet up after school and decide. The period is almost over.”
“Okay. Where should we meet?”
“Starbucks. Let’s both bring our laptops,too, she didn't say it couldn't be online.”

When the last bell rings, I walk out to my bike, and the tires are slashed. Gerard sees me just standing still looking at my tires, and walks over.
“Luna, what’s wrong?”
All I do is point to my bike, he seems to get why I don’t answer with words.
“Come on, I’ll give you a lift.”
“Okay, I need to drop my backpack off and get my laptop.”
We grab my bike and go over to his car, and tie it to the back. Mikey was already waiting by the car for Gerard. Mikey looks confused for a second, then he sees my bike. We drop Mikey off first, and Gerard grabs his laptop, then we head to my house. We then head to Starbucks.

We get our coffee then we go to a corner and sit down. We sit in silence as our computers boot up. We look at each other's screens and we start laughing, because we have the same background.
"I guess we get each other more than we thought."
"So, let's get down to business. What are we going to do for our project?"
"Um...we could do a portrait of someone."
"We could do one of Thom Yorke."
"That is a brilliant idea! I guess it is settled then."
We look up pictures and try to decide which on to base our portrait off of. We start scetching it out on some notebook paper I had in my laptop case. We are going to paint the portrait in class after we put it on canvas. We take turns scetching, while one of us takes a drink, or answers an email, the other scetches.
"Holy fuck...this is amazing."
"You literally just stole the words from my mouth Gerard."

In class we get canvas, and start transfering our scetch to the canvas. Our teacher walks behind us as Gerard is drawing, and I'm getting the right colors of paint out.
"Good job you two."
She startled both of us out of our zones.
"Th-thanks." we say together.
We take a small break, and see that no one else in our class thought of the same thing we did. Gerard finishes drawing it out, and I start painting. He holds the actual picture up so I can see what color goes where. The bell rings after I finish the hair.

"Luna, would you like to go to dinner, and a movie with me?"
"Yeah, of course Gerard."

He picks me up at 7 o'clock, and we go to a pizzaria that I didn't even know existed. The movie we go see is Grown Ups 2. We sat in the middle of the back row, and almost couldn't stop laughing. I think we earned some disapproving stares from the couple in the front row. He drives me home afterward, and we just sit in my driveway for a minute.
"This was fun Gerard."
"It was very fun, we should do it again sometime. And you can call me Gee."
"Okay goodnight, Gee."
He gies me a goodnight kiss.
"Goodnight, Luna."

I know this chapter is a bit longer, I just got into the zone. I was actually listening to all time low while typing, so yeah.
