My Teenage Romance

It has been a week since I started going to this school, and my parents are confused as to why I don’t go to parties with other girls. They just don’t understand that my only friends at this school are a bunch of guys who are emo. Typical parents. Gerard has been helping me get to all of my classes without getting lost, and in turn I don’t bring my headphones to school. We all sit with my phone in the middle of the table, listening to music, and talk. I am able to trust them, and they are able to trust me, like I know who they all have crushes on. Well, I know who Mikey has a crush on, because the other guys don’t have crushes. I think that is kinda funny.
“Hey! Luna! Wait up!”
“Hey, Mikey. What’s up?”
“Guess what Gee just got!.”
“I dunno. What?”
“Radiohead concert tickets, for all of us!”
“Really? That’s awesome!”
It is our lunch period, so me and Mikey rush over to our usual table, to see that the other guys are already sitting there.
"Hey, guys. Where ya been?"
"Rushing over here. So, Radiohead tickets, eh?"
"Yeah. They're for tonight's show. We just need to figure out where and what time to meet."
We spend our lunch period deciding this. In the end we just decide that Gerard and Mikey are going to pick us all up at 6:30.

6:25 rolls around and I put my shoes back on and grab my jacket then go out and sit on the porch. The guys pick me up at exactly 6:30. The concert doesn't start until 7:30, so we all go to subway to get dinner. We then head to the concert.
The first song that they play is 'High and Dry'. I can already tell that this is going to be one of the best nights of my life, with great music and my best friends. It feels like the night goes past so quickly, because we are soon on the last song of the night, Creep. The crowd is silent as the song begins. I eventually can help it, I start singing along. Gerard looks at me when I do.
When the concert ends, Gerard kisses me. I stand there for a second, surprised. Then I walk over to where they are all standing. We talk for a second, then we walk to the car and get in. Gerard drops the guys off first, including Mikey, then he drives me home. As I go to unbuckle my seat belt, he catches me in another kiss. We say goodnight and I walk up to my door, and go inside.
I shut myself in my room, change into my PJ's, and collapse on my bed. Before I fall asleep I think about the kiss and smile.
