My Teenage Romance

I had to go to the office first thing, and I see one of the boys from the group I chained my bike up by. I walk up to the counter and the lady tells me to sit down and she would get to me in a minute. The only other chair is beside the chair, so I sit there. When I sit down he looks over at me.
"...hi"
"hi"
"I'm Gerard."
"I'm Luna. Nice to meet you."
He looks as though he is about to answer when his name gets called. A few minutes later he walks out and my name is called. The vice principle gives me my schedule and a map of the school.
I find my class and enter. Gerard and the three other boys he was hanging out with are sitting in the back of the room. The teacher announces that I'm Luna, and I'm a new student here. There is a desk open beside Gerard so I sit there.
After class some cheerleader knocks my books out of my hands. As I bend down to pick them up, Gerard puts them back into my arms. Before I can say thanks, he's gone. I don't see him again until lunch. When I spot him I rush over and quickly say thank you, and then I leave. I go out into the courtyard, and pop my headphones on while I eat. Without me realizing Gerard and his friends sit down at my table.
"What are you listening to?"
I look up startled and say "Radiohead-Creep"
"Cool. I want to introduce you to my friends. This is Frank, Ray, and Mikey. Guys this is Luna."
I stopped my music when they surprised me, so I take my headphones off and we all get to know each other.
It's my first day and I already have friends.
