psy·cho·sis
sīˈkōsəs/
noun
1.a severe mental disorder in which thought and emotions are so impaired that contact is lost with external reality.
Gerard's delusions have consumed him. At one time, he'd only smoked marijuana on occasion, but the persuasion of his best friend Bob led him to long for a taste of "stronger medicine". Gerard finds his home alongside a drug that, on the streets, they call "Snow White." As his addiction grows stronger, his mind grows weaker. His eyes have sunken in from lack of sleep. He feels watched at night by the shadows cast by the moonlight. His family and friends begin to realize his irregular behavior and send Gerard to a mental facility. There he meets the dark, mysterious, and twisted psychopath of whom the other patients only refer to as "Ghoul." This strange and secretive creature of the night has entranced Gerard entirely and helps bring his hallucinations and delusions to life. Gerard's quiet roommate is the only one who knows how Ghoul has consumed his dreams. He'd experienced it. And he's the only one who can save Gerard from destruction.
