Summary
Marceline loved her home in Washington, it reminded her of her childhood. A time much simpler, much happier. She was a carefree butterfly flitting through every room. Whether she was tracing over old pencil marks on the walls by the kitchen or reading a book in the window seat while she watched the rain fall she admired how it felt like love. The day her father told her they were moving cross country to New Jersey was the day her world shattered. How could she leave the whole she built all her memories in. How could she leave the home that she saw her mother in every day? She was leaving and starting a new life.
The abuse set back in not long after they arrived in Verona almost like clockwork and her visions of her mother were starting to fade, well all but one. What was she trying to tell her? While trying to figure out what her mother is showing her, dark things from Marceline's past start to rise. Will she find what's missing, or will she let the darkness consume her?

It's been YEARS!
Wow, I can't believe how long ago I started this story.My last major update was like 2015 that makes me laugh so much.
Anyways. This is a tiny bump, but I'm also letting everyone know that I'm back to writing on here. I'll be continuing this story but there's gonna be major changes, and a huge rewrite so bare with me.
Anyways I've been away dealing with family issues and writing my own stories but I loved my two stories on here so much and I wanted to continue them in my down time. This community rocks and I made some cool friends on here all those years ago. I'm excited to come back and I'm excited to see all the new work on here.
